“NICE PLACE TO STAY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We spent 2 nights here. Nice place to stay. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location of the motel is great. Easy to get in and out of. Very quiet. Beds are very comfortable. A/C worked really well. Each room has chair outside the room to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors.

A group of 6 booked to stay for one night but enjoyed it so much, we all stayed another night. The room was very clean & tidy. Excellent shower, comfortable bed & pillows (very important to us). Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good, adequate. The pool was clean & refreshing. If we ever pass this way again, we would surely stay here. Well recommended.

We wer going to the South Rim, but the rain started so we tuned into this motel. The rates were good the pool looked good and the overall feeling was good. Far enough off the road for noise. Close enough to the liquor store and restaurants so we didn't need to use the cycle.

They went above and beyond for us. It was our anniversary weekend and we didn't want anything to ruin it. My husband is highly sensitive to things like scented laundry soap or fabric softners. They went out and bought new sheet sets and a blanket for the room. Also, when I called before we even arrived I asked a really weird request. Vinegar help absorb odors so asked if they would put a bowl of vinegar in the room just in case. It worked! My husband didn't get sick once the whole trip. Thank you!

The motel does not have great street appeal and looks kind of old and shabby. Once we went inside however, we found the place to be updated and clean, They have large HD tvs and free wi fi. The room was clean and the bathroom had been remodeled. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. Our room was an end room with sliding doors to a nice porch which was nice for sitting in the evening, For the price, we felt that the motel was a good value.

Terrible customer service, incompetent management mainly the male owner, really hard to communicate with him due to his poor english. Been staying here for two months due to road construction up near Cimarron Pass, and the first room I stayed in had ticks in the bed, do not stay in room #137. After complaining I did get moved to another room. Also the beds are poor or very old, room smell, bathroom fan did not work so after taking a shower the humidity lingers and room has a moldy smell to it, brought all these concerns to the male owner and said he was going to fix it, never did. Over all terrible service will not stay here ever again. Also check your bed comforter, hardly washed and probably will be laying in someone's else's filt.

We recently stayed in Montose, CO as our home base for a week of great rides on the Harley. The room was clean and well maintained as was the entire property. The nightly rate was reasonable and the staff was both friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay at this motel again!
