“Love LOVE Love”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

After several years of being unable "to get away" for our anniversary, this B&B was the perfect place to start our much needed mini-vacation. Relaxing atmosphere and comfy bed! One night we sat in the hot tub with a glass of complimentary glass of wine, and the next night we enjoyed the live music judt right outside! PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Monarch... light and cheerful!

“Best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

We were visiting some friends in Montrose and we were looking for a place to stay that was different than your average hotel. We came across the Canyon Creek B and B and I am really glad we did. The owner of the Canyon Creek, Kendra met us at the front door. She welcomed us in with open arms and treated us like family. The B&B was cozy, well maintained and full of character. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a unique style all it's own. Kendra provided us with everything we needed and her employee and the cook Skyler, was at our beckoned call, and all to happy to assist us in obtaining anything to make our stay more comfortable. The rooms were great, but the breakfast was amazing. So many choices and everything was cooked perfectly. It is on Main Street so traffic noise can be heard during the day, but it's quiet at night. On Thursday nights during the summer, Main Street is shut down and the community comes out to partake in a festival called Main in Motion. The B&B turns into a live music stage, and food and drinks are served on the front lawn. Enjoy, relax and sip a frosty beverage. Cheers to you Kendra and your wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We will be back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good, and have a style all their own.

“Small room; Average overall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

We were expecting something on a quaint street in the old town of Montrose. The house is actually on Main Street, but there's not much quaint about it. It was on a busy street that quieted down for the most part during sleeping hours.

Fortunately, we were the only guests, so it was like having the house to ourselves. They served us wine after we arrived, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, not great.

Our room was pretty small. Very little counter space in the bathroom; a small fridge at the foot of the bed, which made it dicey when getting up in the dark!

Overall, an average stay.

“Stay at this B&B!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2010

I travel A LOT and have stayed in too many bed and breakfast's to count, but this one gets an A+. It is a beautifully renovated house on Main (a little noisy during the day, but quiet at night), with three small but beautiful guest rooms with their own shower or bath. Every morning a wonderful omelet or delectible breakfast item is served, and coffee from the Coffee Trader across the street is brewed up. Kendra and her husband host a weekly music jam and bar downstairs, which wraps up at a decent hour but gives the guests a chance to unwind and listen to local musicians while sipping on their favorite martini. Likewise, wine and cheese are served every evening at six o'clock for the guests. The place is spotlessly clean and well appointed, and has a friendly and upbeat energy.

HIGHLY recommend.
