We were expecting something on a quaint street in the old town of Montrose. The house is actually on Main Street, but there's not much quaint about it. It was on a busy street that quieted down for the most part during sleeping hours.

Fortunately, we were the only guests, so it was like having the house to ourselves. They served us wine after we arrived, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, not great.

Our room was pretty small. Very little counter space in the bathroom; a small fridge at the foot of the bed, which made it dicey when getting up in the dark!

Overall, an average stay.

Just can't find words enough to express my love for this Bed and Breakfast. We had a great stay and it was wonderful to relax here after a long day on our motorcycle, the breakfast was delicious. We WILL be back!

I travel A LOT and have stayed in too many bed and breakfast's to count, but this one gets an A+. It is a beautifully renovated house on Main (a little noisy during the day, but quiet at night), with three small but beautiful guest rooms with their own shower or bath. Every morning a wonderful omelet or delectible breakfast item is served, and coffee from the Coffee Trader across the street is brewed up. Kendra and her husband host a weekly music jam and bar downstairs, which wraps up at a decent hour but gives the guests a chance to unwind and listen to local musicians while sipping on their favorite martini. Likewise, wine and cheese are served every evening at six o'clock for the guests. The place is spotlessly clean and well appointed, and has a friendly and upbeat energy.

HIGHLY recommend.

Small B&B with three individually decorated rooms. Rooms are small, but beatiful. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Around 6 pm wine and cheese are served for all guests, which give you the possibility of connecting with other guests. Laptop for guest-use available in living room, but either connection or laptop are very slow.
Only negative point is location. B&B is located on the Main Street of Montrose. Therefore, traffic noise can be heard at any time. However, at night traffic is light and does not keep you from sleeping.
