I have stayed at this property numerous times, and it was an excellent choice. Rooms were spotless, and the property seemed like it was almost brand new. The staff was very hospitable and welcoming. I would stay at this hotel if traveling to Montrose Colorado.

Ashley and Barbara were at the front desk when we checked in. As first-time guests we got to choose a snack and a drink. Later, Barbara came to our room to help my husband with the television set. Ashley seemed to be there 24/7 - extraordinarily pleasant and helpful.

Warm cookies in the afternoon. Okay breakfast (the sausage links were very dry). Comfortable place to sit in the lobby (with the breakfast room television muted, thank goodness).

Very clean - we were in Room 206 and there is a stain on the easy chair, but other than that the furniture looked fine. Comfortable chair to sit in to work at a more-than-adequate desk. One of those lamps-with-plugs for one's computer (really appreciate not having to get down on the floor to find an outlet).

No fridge, for those that this matters - didn't matter to us. Thermostat on wall (I like this much better than trying to figure out how to adjust dials). Two center bed lamps between queen-size beds - I despair of ever finding a hotel with lamps on both sides of two beds which would be nice when two people in one bed want to read before they go to sleep.

On a main highway which makes the hotel easy to find and getting into the main part of Montrose convenient. Near the small, not-busy airport.

All-in-all, a pleasant experience - no noisy guests, thank goodness. I'll stay here again if we go to Montrose again.

Well located to visit the Black Canyon of Gunnison, the hotel is a classic Hampton. The furniture needs a bit of refurbishment. Anyway the standard is the one of the Hampton hotels so you have room for your baggages, a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom. The breakfast is alright.

A very pleasant experience staying here. Hotel is well kept and staff is friendly. Breakfast items include the usual cereal and juice but they go the extra mile and offer fresh fruit. In the past I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express when in Montrose but after trying Hampton Inn I'll be staying here from now on.

The hotel was a little older but very clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The only problem we had, that the room was not cleaned after first night. The bath room was cleaned but we were already in the room and the beds and vacuuming could not be done

We had the best nights sleep so far on our road trip. Excellent hotel, very clean, staff were friendly. Best breakfast so far too, lots of choice and space to eat. Although it quite a distance into town to get any food for our evening meal.
