The is an older type "mom/pop" establishment which made it so much nicer than entering a "sterilized" chain. The woman at the front desk (and her doggie companion) greeted us with a warm smile, she engaged us in conversation and offered some advise on sights and restaurants. We arrived much later than planned (after 10 pm) and they were more than gracious and were waiting for us. Our room, although not new, was roomy and clean. The pool was sufficient for the size of the hotel, as was the hot tub. The prices they offered reasonable, what else doyou need? We would return.

Saw the reviews and decided to stay for one night,stayed two instead. Rooms are BIG and CLEAN. Great places to eat nearby,just ask the front desk. Garden of the Gods close. Pikes Peak close. Coffee and Continental Breakfast will get you started. Would stay there again!!

Simple, clean, comfortable, affordable ($55/night) motel in a great location! It is very near Pike's Peak Cog Railway, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, etc. You can even walk to downtown Manitou Springs which has unique shops. We loved this area and will recommend it to our friends and family!

My group stayed on a Tuesday night and then again on the following Friday night. Both nights were fantastic. The rooms were clean and designated as non-smoking like I had reserved. All you can eat pastries and coffee were in the office every morning along with friendly staff members and a nice old yellow lab who had just had hip surgery. We will definately stay here the next time we are in town.
