The best part of this trip was how much every age group was entertained. My 2.5-year-old was actually good the WHOLE time. Keep a toddler's interest for an hour. Go ahead and try. Then entertain grandpa at the same time. Apparently it takes a cave! Everything you look at is interesting, visually, geologically or historically.
It's a good winter activity, too, since the cave is always in the mid 50s.
They even got a good picture of the 5 of us. Unheard of. ABSOLUTELY worth a stop.
Note: Expect low clearances, tight passages, and some steep stairs. But of course, right? No food service except for vending during the winter.
