“Nice Motel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

This motel was very clean with a friendly staff, nice indoor pool, location was not far from downtown and the Cog Ride at Pikes Peak, very close to "Garden of Gods" & Academy Horse stables and just a few miles away from Cave of the Winds and the Cliff Dwellers. Not a wide open view of the area from motel but you can see Pikes Peak. It did not look like to many motels had any better views than this motel just because they are all built so close together. Had a great time. Would stay at this motel again.

Stayed here 2 nights.Facility is spotless, great breakfast, easy access to Manitou Springs just up road. But deluxe king room with "mountain view" and "balcony" wasn't what we'd hoped. Window looked out over parking lot, rear wall of motel next door, large billboard sign, & power lines toward Pikes Peak in far far distance. Since one has to pay extra for this view it was disappointing. Balcony was a tiny pad with enough room for standing at a railing looking over parking lot-no room for chair. Road noise from adjacent Hwy 24 & main street. Bottom line: if you just want a clean room to use as a base this place is very good. NOT SCENIC or in historic part of Manitou Springs, but minutes away.

My husband & I stayed 3 nights and found our room to be very comfy. Our room had a king bed that was firm (just the way we like it) & not sagging anywhere. The room was very clean & spacious with a fridge, microwave & computer desk. We both found the bathroom to be a bit small but that was ok for the 2 of us. The hotel was very close to the Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon & 7 minutes way from the cog railway. We found the location to be great for the things we wanted to see in the area. Free parking, wi-fi & breakfast & very easy to find. The day we were to leave we wanted to print our boarding passes but the computer room was closed, not a problem as the manager let us behind the check in counter to use one of the computers & print our documents. Very accommodating. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

We were greeted with nice, informed staff. The hotel is clean and the breakfast had something for everyone. Location is GREAT to all the fun stuff in the area. We will stay there again on our next visit.

The view of Pikes Peak from the bed was worth it. The kids loved the pool. The location was exactly what we wanted. the front desk staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was not as good as other hotels, though.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

My family and I stayed in this hotel from May 16th thru May 19th. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony, we didn't use it much it was too small. The view from the hotel of Pikes Peak was beautiful. My kids enjoyed the heated pool. The jacuzzi was nice after a long day of site seeing. There was a full breakfast every morning from 7 to 11 which was great for me because I could eat breakfast when I wanted to instead of waiting for my family. I am the only one in my family that likes to eat breakfast :-) The hotel also had a laundry room which also came in handy. I washed all out dirty clothes the night before we were to leave. There is a media room where you can print your boarding passes for the airport which was also convenient. The hotel is down the street from the Cog Railway which is a must see if you are visiting Manitou Springs. The view from the top of Pikes Peak is breath taking. Garden of the Gods is also close to the hotel and another must see. If you are looking for a good place to eat lunch I would recommend the Pancake and Steak house. They have good food and fair prices. They close at 2 as do most restaurants in Manitou Springs. If you are going to be visiting Manitou Springs the Comfort Inn is definitely the place to stay. Its close to everything, clean, and doesn't cost a fortune.

First we didn't plan on spending the night here. Fortunately our reservation got messed up at an old property down the road. That was a great break. This hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed. The property was clean, like new, and all the staff was super accommodating. We added a second night to our stay. We checked out long before breakfast and the desk staff opened the breakfast room 40 minutes early. We were so glad our reservation got messed up at the PPI. We will return.
