I spent New Years Eve here with some buddies from around CO. The rooms were nice, smelled fresh...(I can't stand moldy smelling hotel rooms). What really caught me was the lounge. I travel for work and visit lots of hotel bars, but this was seriously a nice, classy, comfortable lounge. Instead of eating and drinking at Rock Bottom Brewery across the street in Centerra, we stayed in. The furniture is all new, with cool looking light fixture, a fireplace, a bunch of flat screen TVs. I had a foofy drink off the specialy drink menu, a chocalatey martini thingy- awesome. I tried a couple more drinks during the night, while enjoying some appetizers, live music and a little dancing. It was real festive, even with a champagne toast. The place was hopping, we had a great time..my friends are still talking about it. We've been back a couple times for beers and hockey. One of them encouraged me to write a review about it, so here it is. Hope it helps somebody else plan their trip or just their Friday night.

I went there with a group of friends for a new year's eve party. Our group was split into 2 tables and both of the table's orders were taken at the same time. After our salads were served, we were told our table had to be moved, so they set up a card table next to our other group's table. The other group's food arrived promptly and they ate. An hour and a half later, our food had not been served. I complained, and about 20 minutes our food showed up cold, and not even complete. The fettuchini was dried at the edges from air drying, some went back and used the room microwave to warm their food and return.

To top it off, when I went to take a shower the next morning, there was no soap or shampoo in the room.

The lobby has been remodeled, but the rooms are out of the 70's. A common practice I've seen with older hotels to grab you in and give you a sub-standard, outdated room.

Stay away.

With regards to a comment that was posted on 1/2/08 entitled “worst service in my life!!!” I would like to have a documented response. This guest was with a group of 20 people who all raved about the services upon their checkout the following morning. This particular guest was upset about the service and that he was not getting the attention he deserved. He was greatly compensated for his unfortunate circumstances and upon his departure thanked us on our prompt response to his needs. This guest’s actions portrayed to out staff that he was satisfied and grateful for the compensation he received. I apologize that the guest had a negative experience, however we pride ourselves in superior customer service and never stop trying to have all of our customers leave fully satisfied.

Wow! The Best Western Crossroads Inn in Loveland has really set the precedent for other hotels in the area and for Best Westerns around the country! Having two sons who attend CSU, my wife and I have spent many hotel nights in northern Colorado over the years. We enjoy being close to the mall at Centera when we come to visit, and so we have tried many hotels in the area. While always pleased with our accommodations in Loveland, We find that we are getting an incredible value for our money at Crossroads Inn. The newly remodeled rooms are extremely comfortable, the breakfast is one of the best I've ever experienced, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the lounge is a classy and relaxing addition to the total package that we receive when booking at Crossroads Inn. All this for a great price! Thanks Best Western Crossroads Inn! We will stay with you every time; you have made our trips to northern Colorado fun, comfortable and convenient.

“Great but you MUST drive to Bud Events Center”

I was hoping for a simple, clean place to stay in the vicinity of the Bud Events Center where we were going to see some concerts. We got that and more. In addition to being a great value and perfectly fine, the place has a nice lounge which was good after the show. The front desk staff was quite friendly. The only downside was that the only way to get to the Bud Events Center was to drive. We were hoping to be able to walk. If a better shuttle could be arranged, this place would really be ideal for events up in Loveland.

This hotel is in a particularly lame location, almost hidden behind a Conoco gas station. I drove past it because a semi truck fueling up blocked it from view. This Best Western is just a bit lamer than usual. The reasons why I choose Best Western when I travel are because of the hassle free complimentary internet and the overall value of the chain. But I had internet problems at this location. I killed 10 flies in my room after I checked in. They started mowing the lawn early in the morning... The room itself was good and comfy. Overall I paid way too much for a truck stop flyshop with no wireless internet.
