Been wanting to try this place out since Sunset magazine called it one of the best BBQ places in the West. Truth is, it wouldn't even be the best place in my OWN town (Loveland -- time to go give Serious Texas Bar B Q some props, too, while I'm in here...).
The ribs were tender, but no real flavor to them; the sauce, served, on the side, was just yr typical barbecue sauce. The $5 fries basket was barely a side dish, and were yr usual generic fries. My wife wouldn't even eat the cole slaw she ordered. Arguably the best thing was the chococale and cinnamon cake -- more specifically, the frosting; I'm sure the cake itself would've been better if was fresh, but it clearly wasn't.
All in all, very disappointing. If you live in Longmont and want to try it, fine. It's not terrible, but just nothing at all special about it.
