Virgilio's seemed promising, but was disappointing from the very first course. The hot mozzarella appetizer sounded great, but was just a small bowl of half glop, and half milky liquid. Gross. The wings appetizer looked good, but the chicken was undercooked, and pink.
The most glaring problem of this restaurant is their pasta. From the spaghetti to the fettucini, it was cooked as a tasteless, sticky mess. You should not be able to pick up your whole plate of noodles with just one twirl of the fork! Even our kids commented on this. Unfortunately, the sauces did not do anything to redeem these dishes.
If I was the management of Virgilio's, I would be embarrassed to serve this food. I spent $150.00 for a party of five, and feel like I was robbed. Oh, and here is the best part. We had 2 kids celebrating their birthday but Virgilio's doesn't celebrate birthdays! Let's spend more money for dessert! There are too many real Italian restaurants in town than to eat this slop.
