We took another couple to The Ranch and they agreed that it is a very special restaurant. The menu has a Colorado flair, with wild game and Colorado lamb options that are delicious but there is always a fresh fish alternative as well as excellent steak. The setting makes the evening--a historical log ranch home elegantly decorated with oriental rugs and dining tables. The bar is a pretty place to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Our server, John, made sure the evening was delightful. As other reviewers note, dessert can be served in the fireplace living room--so lovely and relaxing! The grand marnier souffle is their signature dessert and it is delicious. The Ranch is special in summer or winter. You can dress up for a special celebration or come casually attired.
