“Great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

Keystone is a great resort! Challenging ski terrain, fast lifts, great food, a little bit of everything for everyone. Family friendly if you want to go that route and still plenty for the the adults. I have been there multiple times and it gets better every-time. You can use the free bus services to get from location to location and can even take them to other resorts. A-Basin is just up the road, Breckenridge isn't too far, and Vail is also worth the drive, Keystone is centrally located to all of them. There is no need to leave the resort, but if you want to, you have the option. Lets not forget about the Outback which is a great experience. Id recommend Keystone to everyone.

I originally booked this through groupon. This place didnt look the same as shown on groupon pictures. The lake was under construction..overall ok trip. Not much to do in keystone unless skiing. Food was ok but no complimentary breakfast which was a disappointing.

Had a 1-night stay for a work meeting. There was really no time to enjoy ALL the resort had to offer. The property was beautiful. My room overlooked the pool / hot tub. Beyond that was a mountain stream and a tree covered hill. The room was good sized with 2 double beds. Clean and comfortable but a little dated. Good sized bathroom with nice amenities. We had a group dinner at the Bighorn Bistro and Bar. The food was very good - I had a beef tenderloin. I wish I has more time to explore what the resort had to offer. What I did experience was all good.

room is good size for a couple. a bit tight for 3. it can handle 4 close friends that can share beds and 1 bath. carpeting a bit dated. rest of decor was okay.
location is about 5-10 min from slopes by car, but the SUV shuttle is very convenient and available with short wait.
spa was good not exceptional. indoor and outdoor hot tub okay. medium size. outdoor pool good size but water should be a bit warmer. steam room was good. sauna was weak. nice massage area, but i didn't use.
you get a free small coffee in the morning. $15 breakfast buffet is mediocre. probably better to order off the menu. plenty of free granola bars if that is good enough for you.
attached restaurant has a nice bar and lounge. food looks fancier than it tastes. taste is ok but not as good as it looks. it has a nice view of ice rink by the window.

i had requested 2 queen beds from months ago. it was not available on my arrival night. got a king bed and a cot for the 3 of us. i was very disappointed with the late night front desk staff. next day they changed my room and moved all our stuff while we skied and i was happy after that.
generally very friendly staff except my first night.

The Spa was very nice you can buy cocktails from the Spa Desk and relax by the pool and hot tub. The room was clean but smaller than expected. The personal shuttle service driver was friendly. Clean, well-appointed room, up-to-date bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the comforter. Granola bars were provided free at the front desk.

Had a great time, went in the summer (an odd time to go to a ski area, but neither of us ski!) and hiked, went sightseeing and took the gondola to Alpenglow Stube for the highest altitude gourmet meal in North America. Beautiful scenery and great food.

We recently stayed at the Keystone L & S. We purchased it through Groupon, so it was a good deal without having any expectations on the lodge. This place far surpassed the value vs. the price. It was a great family experience, very nice valet guys, front desk was very helpful and it was only minutes away from skiing!

Room Tip: Every room faces the mountain and they shuttle you to the mountain for skiing, for free! Pool was la...
