“Trappers Crossing 8751 - Need To Hire A New Maid!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

They need to hire a new maid! The bathroom was disgusting with pubic hair/hair on the toilet, long hair strands on the guest towels, the hand towel looked dirty before it was ever used, a dirty washcloth (possibly used by the maid to "so call clean") was left hanging over the shower curtain and the bathroom rug looked like it had not been cleaned in the last year. I wonder what the $70.00 cleaning fee is being used for? In addition, we have NEVER slept on a more UNCOMFORTABLE hide a bed then the one in this rental. Very uncomfortable seating throughout! Completely ruined our stay! The sidewalk was not shoveled the night we checked in so we had to trudge through the snow. The minute we walked into the unit we had to kill 2 spiders. They were small so it was not a big deal but when you have children it can make them feel uneasy. When the neighbors upstairs returned to their unit I thought it was a herd of elephants. NOISY!! Feel like we wasted our money and we DEFINATELY DO NOT RECOMMEND this rental unit!!

The condos were nice but they had roofers fixing the roof 12 hours a day. You could barely carry on a conversation it was so loud in the condo. Reception didn't bother to even warn us and when we called to complain the second day they half-heartedly offered to relocate us to another area. Ruined the experience. I was especially surprised with how poorly it was handled by keystone. Worst customer service I've seen at a hotel.

My husband and I stayed in a 1 bedroom Trappers Crossing Condo in Keystone and had a great stay! The condo was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. The full kitchen was great and saved us money by not having to eat out if we didn't want to. Coffee and paper towels are the only things that are really provided so come prepared if you are planning to cook. There were pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc., but no 8x8 or 9x13 casserole dishes. I assume each condo has different kitchen things provided so you might have everything you need to make meals.

The location was great, just a couple miles from the lifts and on the shuttle route if you don't want to drive. The road going to the condo was pretty clear after it snowed but the parking area and short distance off the main road isn't cleared so that's something to consider. We had no problem in our rental sedan - no AWD and we were fine after it snowed but we drove slow!

The only real negative was the bed was harder than we liked and I could feel every tiny movement from my husband during the night. But after a day of skiing we were slept pretty good.

We stayed here during our ski trip to Keystone. Great condo, beautiful setting, and good location. Only down side was the expense.

You don't come to Keystone for nightlife. Summit Country has great hiking, skiing, good outlets down in Silverthorne and just all the great Colorado stuff that my family loves. We like to sail on Lake Dillon, wander the outlets, hike up by Montezuma. Dillon also has a nice little farmer's market & nature talks. Hike with Llamas at Keystone.
Trapper's has great condos--way at the end of Keystone. You must have a car since the busses seem to have disappeared, Rent bikes. Sit out by a stream and read a book (wear massive bug spray!). We have been Keystone fans for decades! We met nice foks at the area's hot tub spa--great views of the stars.
