was told that keystone was a family friendly resort....while it seems that they have daycare and kid ski school the entire layout of this resort is TERRIBLE. nothing is close to the lifts...you have to walk to everything. most of the "staff" that i encountered were a bunch of burn out boarders working for free skiing. they have ZERO knowledge of the area or mountain for that matter.. i would recommend that if you are renting equiptment than stay away from RENTSKIS.COM which is there on mountain ski rental. these guys are CLOWNS. also there is no "casual"
place to eat around town. there are only 2 plaza's on 6. one is a pizza place names summit pizza and i would rate the pizza a step above school pizza. it almost seemed they just threw a frozen pizza in the oven. i have been to numerous resorts and this one i will never go back to. half of the runs were mysteriously closed and the lifts on most of the mountain (away from the people) close at 1pm. they have night skiing, big deal, its 5 runs and there are more shadows than light. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
