My family and I visited Keystone over the Thanksgiving Holiday and found out the hard way about a real problem they have. After renting a set of nice performance ski's I proceeded to the ticket office to purchase lift tickets. I stored them in the rack across the way and spent 15 minutes away. When I returned the skis were gone. I knew that
it wasnt a case of mistaken ski's I found an employee who referred me to guest services. Once there they had me fill out a missing equipment
report. While I was doing this there were 5 more reports of stolen equipment. When I asked t he employee he said that its become a real problem. I asked what the resort was doing about it and he replied nothing.
I skied resorts all over and never have I heard of such a thing. So If you do decide to ski Keystone, WATCH YOUR EQUIPMENT or better yet find another resort!
