We booked a standard hotel room at the Inn at Keystone for 5 nights as we were up there to snowboard at Keystone. We drove from CALI and Texas so we were tired when we got there. The front desk staff upon check-in were helpful, nice and professional. The lady at the front desk gave us an early check-in (about 11:00am) and gave us an upgrade to a King Suite on the fifth floor for free after I asked. I was really pushing my luck but she was so nice and understood the notion of customer service. When we got to our room, the room wasn't no 5 star luxury room but the suite was very very nice and considering I paid $99.00 plus per night (internet special) with a free upgrade, I was very happy! The customers behind me were being charged twice as much so I wasn't in the capacity to complain. Again, the hotel I think is a very nice property (not extravagant like the sister hotel- Keystone Spa and Resort down the road) but I was happy with the decor and cleanliness of the hotel. My wife was happy with the hotel and stay. There are ski/board lockers, optional valet parking (I would recommend using the valet parking if the parking lot is full), room service (non pet rooms only), hot tubs on the 5th/6th floors, full bar and a seafood restuarant. The ambience at the bar and restuarant was very nice/romantic. Be warned-quite expensive for drinks and seafood. We ate once at the restuarant and the crab cakes have so much crabmeat-I was in heaven! The lady bartender was really nice and talkative (I wish all bartenders were that nice and pretty!). Also the breakfast attendant was really nice as well. She actually helped us on our first day when my freakin truck got stuck in the driveway (I didn't know she worked at the hotel until we got breakfast). She was really helpful in giving advice about the area, was a real sweetheart to us and pretty as well!! Anyhow, again, the staff was great except for one girl at the front desk who was trying to argue with me and gave me attitude. She wouldn't even say hi to us in the elevator but hey no worries-I ain't trippin. The hot tubs were nice to enjoy after a full day of boarding. Incredible views from the tubs of the night skiing and mountain. The only gripe I had about the hotel was the parking sucked as it made it really inconvenient to go out for dinner and apres' boarding as you would come back and there were no parking spaces. (limited spaces), food/drinks too expensive and that one front desk girl. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend to others who don't want to spend $400-$500.00 a night for a room. Also, MAKE SURE YOU ORDER PIZZA FROM PIZZA 101 WHICH IS NEXT TO THE HOTEL IN A OFFICE/COMMERICAL BUILDING!! The guys there are nice and helpful, the pizza was out of this world (best pizza I ever have had and I've eaten pizza in NYC/Chicago and Los Angeles). I wish I was in Keystone right now at the Inn at Keystone, LOL!!! Till next time!!

This was our first Family Ski Vacation and we didn't really know where to stay, so we booked online and ended up here. Check in isn't until 4, but the wonderful lady at the front desk went out of her way to get us checked in SUPER early (11'ish) cause we came a long way and got there way early! I thought the staff was WONDERFUL! Room was standard hotel room. Nothing spectacular, but gorgeous view of the Mountain! And, very close to slopes.
One thing...we went to the Seafood Restaurant located downstairs, which was a bit overpriced for what you get, but we thought it was VERY romantic..other than that we got a view of a naked man toweling off in his condo next door! Ahhhh!! lol

Made for a memorable trip!! THANK YOU KEYSTONE INN!

We wanted a quick romantic getaway into the mountains, and I read about the Inn at Keystone's Spa Suites. They apparently have two of these suites, so I didn't think I'd get it with only about 10 days notice. It was available, and we were very impressed.

It was a large, two room suite (living room, and king bedroom with a 4 person tub). It was located on the 6th floor with the outstanding veiws from the floor to ceiling windows. The tub is on a raised platform surrounded by mirrors, reflecting the mountain views. Note that it's not a pre-filled tub, but needs to be filled by the guest. The water stayed hot, and only took a few minutes to fill.

The front desk staff was professional, and helpful in providing directions and advice on our fine dining choice. We stopped by the bar and had no problems getting good prompt service either. Overall, a great experience with no complaints... Now the best part. This is in a ski resort during the heart of the ski season, and we paid $99 for the room. If you're lucky enough to get the Spa Suite, you will love it!

I'd say the standard room w two queen beds is pretty much just a room. There wasn't a ton of space, just your run of mill two beds, tv, straight back chair, and bathroom.

Nits: One of the lights didn't work, there was no room service menu or one of those nice little books telling you the where and when of the amenities, nor were their pay per view options for movies. It was flipping freezing the night I was there, and it would have been nice to have watched a movie rather than blah cable.
I also wasn't sure how you were 300 feet from the slopes...no map showing access. The heat also seemed to have only two settings - ON and OFF, so we were often HOT or COLD.

The room was on the end corner, so two walls faced the outside and across the hall was the housekeeping closet. Therefore, it was wonderfully quiet.

It was a good deal for $100, I suppose, considering it's prime ski season. I appreciated the covered parking so there was no window scraping, and there are restaurant options within walking distance.

This place was so great! I read reviews that were horrible and was worried, but my expectations were exceeded! Our room was just like any other hotel room, but the staff was the best! They all knew me and my pet. My pet was unexpectedly crying while we left him in the room and we went skiing over Christmas Day. The staff was more than generous to watch over him! My dog was happy and so was everyone else that met him!

It is only a short bus ride to the lifts and the bus comes through every 5-10 minutes! I can't tell you how nice this place was to stay. Oh, and the hot tub's on the roof ARE amazing! Don't hesitate to book here!! I know you will have fun!!

  • Liked — The it is pet friendly and the staff is wonderful!!
  • Disliked — The air conitioning wasn't to great, but they did provide a fan.
