We booked a standard hotel room at the Inn at Keystone for 5 nights as we were up there to snowboard at Keystone. We drove from CALI and Texas so we were tired when we got there. The front desk staff upon check-in were helpful, nice and professional. The lady at the front desk gave us an early check-in (about 11:00am) and gave us an upgrade to a King Suite on the fifth floor for free after I asked. I was really pushing my luck but she was so nice and understood the notion of customer service. When we got to our room, the room wasn't no 5 star luxury room but the suite was very very nice and considering I paid $99.00 plus per night (internet special) with a free upgrade, I was very happy! The customers behind me were being charged twice as much so I wasn't in the capacity to complain. Again, the hotel I think is a very nice property (not extravagant like the sister hotel- Keystone Spa and Resort down the road) but I was happy with the decor and cleanliness of the hotel. My wife was happy with the hotel and stay. There are ski/board lockers, optional valet parking (I would recommend using the valet parking if the parking lot is full), room service (non pet rooms only), hot tubs on the 5th/6th floors, full bar and a seafood restuarant. The ambience at the bar and restuarant was very nice/romantic. Be warned-quite expensive for drinks and seafood. We ate once at the restuarant and the crab cakes have so much crabmeat-I was in heaven! The lady bartender was really nice and talkative (I wish all bartenders were that nice and pretty!). Also the breakfast attendant was really nice as well. She actually helped us on our first day when my freakin truck got stuck in the driveway (I didn't know she worked at the hotel until we got breakfast). She was really helpful in giving advice about the area, was a real sweetheart to us and pretty as well!! Anyhow, again, the staff was great except for one girl at the front desk who was trying to argue with me and gave me attitude. She wouldn't even say hi to us in the elevator but hey no worries-I ain't trippin. The hot tubs were nice to enjoy after a full day of boarding. Incredible views from the tubs of the night skiing and mountain. The only gripe I had about the hotel was the parking sucked as it made it really inconvenient to go out for dinner and apres' boarding as you would come back and there were no parking spaces. (limited spaces), food/drinks too expensive and that one front desk girl. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend to others who don't want to spend $400-$500.00 a night for a room. Also, MAKE SURE YOU ORDER PIZZA FROM PIZZA 101 WHICH IS NEXT TO THE HOTEL IN A OFFICE/COMMERICAL BUILDING!! The guys there are nice and helpful, the pizza was out of this world (best pizza I ever have had and I've eaten pizza in NYC/Chicago and Los Angeles). I wish I was in Keystone right now at the Inn at Keystone, LOL!!! Till next time!!
