“Quiet, Scenic and Great Staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2014

We checked in on a Saturday night and the hotel was bustling with a variety of guests. Sunday by noon, like most Colorado mountain hotels, everyone checked out and we had the place to ourselves. The hotel is also very quiet because there's no loud highway. We thoroughly enjoyed hot tubbing on the rooftop and excellent river and mountain views from our room. Hiking and biking are right out the back door. The room itself is adequate but stuck in 1985. Our dog Brian also enjoyed his stay here. The only nice thing I can say about breakfast is that it's included.

I stayed at the Inn to attend an event at the nearby Keystone Conference Center. The room was clean and adequate, though a bit tight on the night my husband & children joined me.

Rooms do not have air conditioning, but they equip the room with a vertical air blower. That said, you may get a bit warm based on the weather moving through the area. You also have cable, filtered water in a provided bottle, a mini-fridge, and a blow dryer.

The hot tub is located under an overhang in the garage, so if you're going for scenery while you relax in the water you might be disappointed.

The lobby has a full bar, though I didn't spend time there. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Parking is somewhat limited if they're at capacity, but they offer free valet parking to get your car to a nearby lot.

The big bonus is the shuttle and/or walking paths which can get you to any of the activities, venues or villages nearby. You really do have everything at your fingertips without needing to hop in your car.

Room Tip: They do have suites available; ask for one if you want a bit more room than a standard Holiday Inn d...

First, let me start by saying that Keystone is not my favorite place in colorado. There isn't a ton to do and feels a bit forced. There are better places in colorado to stay!
Given that, we attended for a wedding. The hotel service was excellent, staff were wonderful. You got drink tickets for the bar and free breakfast that was good in the morning. Rooms were not that great. The windows had a nice view of the mountain, but only a small window opened, so you couldn't enjoy the fresh air and got hot at night. Hotel needs a big makeover as feels like a motel 6 in the 1990's. Pretty good location, despite there not much to do in keystone. Prices are high for what you get....wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice of places to go in Colorado.

Room Tip: Get the Mountain View if you are going her

We stayed here for one night to get away and got a package with a round of golf and breakfast. We were surprised at how close it was and affordable for the location. We got a suite which was really nice. Breakfast was tasty.

Although we didn't bring our dog we loved that it was dog friendly. We also met Avalanche the husky Pup.

The parking situation is a little bleak - they have half the number of parking spots as rooms. But they offered to valet the car for no charge.

I came home and reserved a room here for the winter to come up and ski - the rates are really reasonable for what you get.

Room Tip: You are either street facing or mountain facing. Street facing was fine and still had a good view o...

Positive: Absolutely beautiful views, loved the hot tubs on the roof! The staff is very friendly and helpful, parking is free and if you can't find a spot, they will valet parking for you. The bar is very nice. Free continental breakfast.

Negative: The room was stuffy, no air. The curtain didn't work. The shower retained water, didn't drain.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back, not facing the street.

I was here for conference and the Lodge was full. The Inn was a terrific alternative. Clean and pleasant it is just a few minutes by shuttle which front desk called and came right away. All staff exceptionally helpful.

It was really pretty great. We took our two puppies and we'll as soon as the front desk young lady introduced us to Avalanche her Husky Pup well we were all best friends and that's what it felt like. She set us up with puppy treats and really made us fell like this is where we want to stay. It was a great first time impression. Breakfast was a good experience and not one complaint. We will be staying there again for sure.

Room Tip: Mountain view was awesome!
