“Ask to sit in a booth, not other room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

The Big Horn Steakhouse was a more formal dinner than the Wolf Rock Steakhouse. Maybe it was the room in which we were seated. They have two rooms: one with booths to the right, and one with table to the left. We were seated in the room with tables b/c the other room was filled. Our room was somewhat empty, quiet and lacked ambiance. That changes the experience. Our dinners were very good - steak, surf and turf, filet...what you would expect from a nice steakhouse. We didn't get any dessert since we were full from dinner. The staff was friendly and very attentive, but I wish we were seated in the other room (I think it overlooks the skating rink).

“Romantic dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

I really liked the Bighorn, it was the best of the higher end places in the area. The goat cheese app. was too good. Service was professional and quick and the view was beautiful. I have had better steaks but if I had to choose one restaurant to go back to in Keystone it would be this one. I would love to try more of the menu it all looked delicious.

“Nice relaxing dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Had a wonderful steak dinner New Year's Day. Stuffed mushrooms were fabulous. We were lucky to get a table which overlooked the ice skating rink. Wine was good.

“Christmas Buffet, Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

I made a reservation online through Open Table before we made our trip out to Colorado for our Christmas vacation, based on reviews from Trip Advisor. We were 15 minutes late for our reservation and yet they still had our table waiting. The Christmas Buffet was fabulous, from delicious appetizers, smoked salmon, chilled shrimp, a mouth watering assortment of cheeses and fruits, delicious rolls and sweet breads, a vast array of beautiful salads to main course items such as venison, prime rib, veal and roasted turkey, with unbelievable sides. There were carving stations, pasta bars and the dessert table was to die for, beautifully decorated with ice sculptures everywhere and a chocolate fountain, and honestly, the most incredible desserts I have ever seen and sampled. My boys were in heaven! The perfect place to spend Christmas!

“Good service and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

Whilst staying at Keystone Lodge my friends and I had dinner at The Bighorn Steakhouse. Although the restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night (middle of Fall) the atmosphere in the restaurant was still good. Service was efficient and courteous and the food was lovely. For a main meal, a glass of wine each and one dessert, shared amongst the four of us, plus the tip it came to about $46 per person. I would definitely recommend Bighorn if you are in Keystone wanting a special dinner with tasty food.
