“'comfortable, quiet, and friendly staff"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

This was our first stay in the Denver area and we were quite impressed with the hotel and staff. Everything was clean and well maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of items. Only one small glitch--They DIDN'T have coffee available at 5:30 AM for early check-outs!

Professionally trained, friendly staff, we found this well managed hotel to be extremely clean and well organized. From registration desk to bartenders, the staff made this a very pleasant stay. Surprisingly, the kitchen staff is really on their game as well. Everything from the kitchen was perfectly and deliciously prepared. Even when slammed at breakfast the kitchen was able to get food out in timely manner. Did we mention the bartenders?

Location is very convenient. At the intersection of 470 and Lucent, we seemed to be less than 20 from anywhere. Mountain views are great from the "odd numbered" rooms. The hotel was fairly full and elevator waits were minimal. Parking is very adequate and the hotel shuttle will happily take you to any one of the many great restaurants or bars in the local vicinity.

In-room coffee maker, fridge, hair dryer and iron/ironing board of course, and the daily cleaning staff was very friendly and efficient. Only thing lacking was an in-room safe.

In sum, we are looking forward to staying at this location again in the near future. It is simply hard to beat.

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms have a great mountain view.

This hotel location is close to where I needed to meet with our local representative Telco office. The potential is there, location is decent, the view of the mountains is tremendous, and there are several good restaurants close by. However, the hotel itself needs a bit of an uplift. First, the room has some antiquated furniture, the bureau had a broken top drawer, the handles just tossed into the drawer. The bathroom has wallpaper that had some stains on it, but the shower has decent pressure, and they do give you a real towel (not that thin tiny locker room white attempt that you usually find, that most hotels must get a ridiculously low price on). Restaurant was OK, but I had to beg for a burger for lunch, as it was 12:45 and they weren't sure they could keep the cook that long...... Bar was stocked and the bartender was a saving grace, great personality and friendly, also a wealth of information. Entertainmentwise, there was a family in from Illinois for a wedding the next day, and what would a wedding be without a fight the night before that brings the police? In all, hotel is OK, service and staff are excellent, and the potential is there to reach the next level with ease.

Room Tip: Go for the discount, get a room with a Mountain View

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad that you found our location convenient. I'm happy to inform you that we're scheduled for renovation on November 2013. We do get a lot of weddings and unfortunately, we can't predict their behaviors. We are fortunate to have Gloria(bartender). Thank you for recognizing her. I will make sure to pass on your lovely comment to her.

We hope that you visit us next time and enjoy our new look!

This is the property I typically stay at when visiting a local office on business. Service from all areas, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant are consistently good. The cookies at the front desk in the afternoon (a la DoubleTree!) are also nice!

Rooms are typical Hilton Garden Inn, but that's not a bad thing. I like the select comfort beds where you can 'dial-in' the firmness or softness of the mattress. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well cared for. Just as important is the effectiveness of the heating and cooling maintaining set temperatures.

The breakfast service is also very good. The food is typical fare but prepared well. I do like that eggs are made to order. Restaurant staff and service are excellent.

The location of the property lends itself to people visiting local surrounding businesses, but is convenient to restaurants. I like that it's a pretty straight drive to and from the airport as well.

Room Tip: Hotel is far enough away from the highway and major roads so traffic noise isn't a factor. I su...

The complimentary coffee is brought out at 6:30 am. A little late for most business travellers needs. If your flight is early and you expect to have a fresh cup of joe for the long ride, there is a starbucks a few block south of there.

Rooms mostly clean. Restaurant maybe open, if you eat early. Staff seems to go on strike a lot. You may find the dirty towels in the hallway. If Gloria is working you will have grate service. I will not stay here on my next business trip.

Hotel is located close to highway and close to a number of restaurants. Typical of the Hilton Garden Inn chain. The things you expect from this chain are all there. Friendly staff and clean hotel. Overall a good place to stay on business when travel brings you close to this area.
