We chose this hotel because this chain usually has great hotels at a reasonable price. However, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There are no restaurants within 1-2 miles of the place. The pool water was murky and looked as if they have not run the filters in weeks. Same was true for the hot tub. And, we had black mold growing on the ceiling of our bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would I stay there again.

Far away from everything, including restaurants. The hot tub was not working, and that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Staff was friendly, but overworked: front desk person was expected to answer the phone, "retrieve" copies for the computer users, and help customers with their needs... all at the same time!

Smelled of smoke (mostly a stop for truckers and construction folks) throughout the property.

The displays around the hotel for their complimentary breakfast FAR exceeded what was actually available.

Directions to "nearby" restaurants were not at all accurate. If you find yourself wanting to go out to eat, I recommend that you search online and NOT pay attention to the information in the rooms.

Reception on the TV was decent for about three channels. The rest were fuzzy or snow-filled and distorted.

I do not recommend this establishment unless you are expecting to work in the area (about a three mile radius). Although not too far away form the airport, there are newer and nicer places which are closer.

If you’re traveling northeast of Denver, this is a good location off I-76 at exit 10. But the big problem is the noise from the interstate and adjacent service road. If noise is an issue for you, this hotel would not be good. We stayed 2 nights, the first and last nights of our trip. The 2nd time I asked for a room on the mountain side to get away from the highway. It was slightly quieter but not enough for me to stay here again.

The breakfast was above average including the normal, boiled eggs and fabulous hot cinnamon rolls. There were pillow top mattresses and choice of firm or soft pillows. Nice touch.

The price was a little higher than I would have hoped for at $85 a night. There were no restaurants within walking distance other than a fast food sub shop. The staff seemed to have their children with them while they worked too. There was no outside area to sit at all.

We had an 8-day vacation through SD, WY, MT, UT, and CO. Stayed in 8 different places, mostly Holiday Inn Express and Best Westerm. This was easily the best hotel we stayed in. It is family-owned and operated by people who are serious about making you comfortable. The desk staff are polite and friendly, the owner was on the premises checking on the guests in the public areas while we were there, and his family members appeared to be out early watering the plants and tidying up the parking lot. The continental breakfast had hot food, a far cry from the stale grocery-store pastries at a lot of mid-range hotels. The express checkout packet under the door in the morning even came with a signed thank-you note!

If every Holiday Inn Express were like this one, I would never stay anywhere else.
