Hotel booked through hotwire and received a great price for the room. I assume the rooms are discounted because some outside areas are still under construction. This is a business hotel, not a resort destination. Rooms are basic, comfortable, and clean with wireless internet and a large desk with network connections. The linens are of reasonable quality. No mini bar - go get your own, the walk will do you good especially if you plan to model your new thong at the rather exposed lobby pool. The lobby is attractive with a large waterfall and bar. The desk staff were pleasant and helpful with directions. There is a 24 hour convience store adjacent to the property for reasonably priced late-night snacks. Convenient to malls in Aurora (10 minutes) and a 20 minute drive to discount malls in Castle Rock. Other than that, the place is designed and situated to meet the needs of tech center business travellers ( middle management please -if you book your CEO here you mayl be seeking employment with the renovation crew). It is a 30 minute drive ( non- rush hour) to the airport in good weather and about the same to Denver. I would suggest driving south to the tollway to access the airport at peak traffic times. The rooms could use a little TLC once the other renos are completed. Little things like a handgrip in the shower ready to detach itself from the wall. The toilet malfunctioned twice but they did respond and repair promptly. The patio door glass was separated from the frame and had a 1/4 inch gap top to bottom. Would have been drafty if the curtains were not so thick. As mentioned in a previous review the back parking lot door is not locked as advertised and should be for guest safety. Currently an excellent value but the rooms require attention to detail to make them worthy of rack rates.
