The staircase goes this way and that way. The wrap around porch goes all the way around the house. The design of the house is cool. Theres a nice big parking lot next to the house. Steve and I arrived to see the end of the Denver Broncos 51 and Cowboys 48 football game. The breakfast was orange juice, coffe, spinach quiche, grapes, strawberries, and manderine oranges. The Currier room had a t.v. ,claw foot tub and a shower. The bed was high off the floor it had a step stool next to the bed. Thank you. Steve Nordstrom and Rita Bennett.

We stay here at the Currier Inn when visiting our daughter who attends UNC. The owners, Derek and Stephanie, have created a little Victorian Haven on a tree lined street not too far from campus and within walking distance of shops and dining. The bedrooms are well appointed, with comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms, fluffly towels and organic toiletries. The breakfasts are quite filling, and Stephanie takes special care to meet dietary restrictions. after finding this little gem, I haven't bothered to look any further; we just keep coming back !

Room Tip: Treat yourself to the bridal suite..well worth it..

Unfortunately my review isn't as "beaming" as the others listed here. I wish we would've been told that singers and musicians from the local Opera organization meet here the Friday and Saturday night that we were here which would explain the loud music right outside our door till 10pm then chatting for another hour after. Not restful for us tired travelers. We didn't appreciate that one bit.

We requested a 7am breakfast because we had an appointment. Innkeeper no where, diningroom was dark. We sat for a half hour before she stumbled down the stairs barefoot, hair tossled, she had forgotten, too much partying the night before with the Opera folks.

No apology, in fact she asked us why we were sitting in the dark. Then to top it off she asked why we didn't start the coffee. I was stunned. She brought us a fruit pack thing you give to kids. Stunned again. We heard the microwave, she came out with a heated up quiche from the day before I guess. Coffee? Never got it, we were now late to our appointment and so tired since we didn't get much sleep from all the music and singing, felt we were intruding so we went thru a drive thru quickly on our way.

Also be aware that they babysit their twin granddaughters so don't expect them to get you anything or notice you're around and need directions, they don't have time for you then.

My wife and I stayed at the Currier in for five nights and are both so glad we did. B&B's can be hit and miss, no matter how good the pictures look. In the case of the Currier in the pictures don't do it justice. While my wife was in a conference, I spent every day working on the Veranda. The owner's are friendly, accommodating and sincere. The ambiance is quiet and warm. The breakfasts were perfect. Stephanie worked hard to accommodate my wife's food allergies with a smile and made sure my wife always had fresh milk for her tea.

The beds were comfy, the A/C quiet, the rooms were quiet, the bathtub had ample warm water, the housekeeping friendly and responsive and our room were clean and comfortable. I really don't have a complaint.

I would stay at the Currier Inn again without question, should I ever return to Greeley. I would recommend it to my mom, my friends and to you. We had a great time there and found it an excellent value.

Room Tip: Call and ask the owner's. Some rooms have a bureau or drawers. Some have a desk or not. Call a...

Thanks for such nice comments. We do our best to accommodate our guests needs and glad we were able to make sure your lovely wife had a good breakfast to get her through her long days at the conference. Good luck with your book by the way! Stephanie

I was not a guest staying the night at this establishment, but was instead performing as part of a concert series. My only complaint was that the piano was really, really out of tune. I felt so bad for the rest of the musicians especially because some of them were hoping to get a good recording out of it. Not to mention that several musicians drove from out of town only to play on a piano that is obviously not taken care of. I hope they are willing to fork over some money to make it a more enjoyable experience for future musicians.

When looking at options for a family gathering in Greeley, we expected that we would have to stay at a chain hotel along a major highway. We found the Currier Inn through Tripadvisor and were very happy with our stay there. The owners were very warm and welcoming and went to great lengths to take care of us, including in dealing with a disoriented family member. The town itself seemed sleepy to us; one early evening we walked to the pedestrian mall to have dinner at a recommended Mexican restaurant, and we were surprised how deserted downtown was during that time of the day.

The rooms our party had were nicely furnished and comfortable. The only issue during our stay was that the AC did not work, which made sleeping a bit tough--especially since we could not sleep with open windows as our room was facing an intersection (not a busy one, but the occasional car coming to a stop and accelerating is enough for us light sleepers). One design feature to improve would be to install deflectors from the AC vents so as to prevent the air blowing right onto the bed (when the AC works, of course).

Breakfast was good and served in the main room next to the reception and the beautiful and elegant curved staircase to the upper floors. The wraparound porch was an added bonus; sitting there in the evening was very relaxing.

A colleague and I stayed here and so we had a chance to compare notes on the two rooms. They are spacious and beautifully appointed. The beds are very high (shorter people can use a quaint old stepping stool) and the style is Victorian. The owners are very nice and conversational. I would stay here again in a flash, plus the breakfast was excellent. My only criticism is that the bathroom shade in the "Greeley Room" doesn't go down all of the way, which means that someone sitting on the porch could look in on someone on the toilet or in the hot tub.
