Ranked #1 of 192 restaurants in Greeley
Cuisines: Persian
Description: This restaurant has been open about 14 months and has consistently outstanding food and is always busy. I've lived in the Middle East for many years and have Persian food from Dubai to Seattle, and this restaurant is at the top in quality in cuisine, service, and has a charming atmosphere in a converted old house in the downtown Greeley area. Adding it to your directory is a service to everyone in northern Colorado.--Professor Beverly Jensen

“Oh soooo delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

Prepare yourself for a delicious feast. Rumis is a wonderful addition to Greeley's restaurants. The dishes are sensual, perfectly spiced and oh so fragrant. Be sure to try the hummus and pita bread. Never had better. Drop a couple of drops of rosewater in your iced tea.

The food is fresh and always excellent. The service is great. Be sure to talk to the owner/chef who will come visiting through the dining room. It makes the whole experience even better. Rumis also does take away and catering.

Highly recommended!!!

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Whenever we are looking for truly delicious food, at a slightly slower and enjoyable rate of pace, we head to Rumi's. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The lentil soup is sublimely tasty! Highly recommended!

If you want something unique and romantic and delicious ..give it a try. I seem to like the restaurants in the remodeled Victorian houses.

“Middle Eastern Food in Greeley??”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2011

Yes! Really! Greeley has more to offer than steak. Rumi's is located downtown in a lovely Victorian house, on 9th St just before you get to 11th Ave. Great lamb, beef, chicken and veggie dishes. I have been here repeatedly and everything is tasty. The red lentil soup is not to be missed. The humus will make you say, "Oh! So THIS is what hummus is supposed to taste like!" And the baklava is simply a slice of delight. The kitchen can be slow when they get busy, so order lots of appetizers, which come quickly, and enjoy the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. Lunch 11-2; dinner 5-9, closed on Sundays. Entrees are c. $10. No alcohol served.
