“A marvelous place to hold your special event”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

I work for a small non-profit in Grand Junction and have had the pleasure of planning numerous events at the Clarion Inn. The sales staff is knowledgeable, flexible, creative, organized...all those factors that take some of the stress out of event planning. Parking is plentiful, the event rooms are handicapped-accessible, audio-visual equipment is readily available, the food is excellent...what more could anyone ask!? If you are planning to fete a special occasion or hold an educational workshop, definitely contact this hotel FIRST.
Being a resident of Grand Junction, I cannot speak to the experience of staying there, but based on the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, I would bet you should give it a try.

The Clarion was a nice surprise! I booked on Hotwire and you never know until you arrive. HDTV, and a microwave and refrigerator all were in my queen room.
The complimentary breakfast was better than the average 3star hotel. A large spread was put out by the neighbor restaurant including make your own waffles. They have a nice atrium where the pool was. I did not use pool because of families in the pool, a little loud. Overall very nice experience!

to discover it is possible to fly out of Grand Junction Airport and the Clarion is a good choice of
a place to stay, leave you car and enjoy their free shuttle to the airport. Hotel has a lovely
hot breakfast with room reservation so you don't have to leave hungry. I am very please
with this hotel after discovering it during a convention I attended. Lovely rooms, clean, helpful personnel at front desk. One of the best hotels I have discovered for the price - especially if
one is a senior. There is also a restaurant on site for those days one is too tired to search
for one.

Room Tip: Hotel is situation around an inside atrium so I would imagine any room is great.

I have never stayed in Grand Junction before, but needed to do so recently. Based on the reviews, I decided to pick this Clarion.
This was apparently originally a Holiday Inn. I've stayed in many over the years and the floor plan was immediately recognizable. It is clean, well maintained and right off of the highway (I-70). My room was clean and quiet with no road noise (although I was on the back side of the building).
The staff was friendly and courteous at check in. The breakfast was typical. If you want a real restaurant, there is a Village Inn next door.
I would stay here again.

I stayed here for business a few nights ago. In the past, it has always been full and now I see why. I paid roughly $80 for the room and that was a bargain. The rooms are clean and updated. They two different densities of pillows. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the property. They offer continental breakfasts or you can have breakfast in the restaurant. I will stay there again and plan ahead so that I have a room. Enjoy. For the price, a person can't beat the amenities.

I stayed three nights at this hotel. I was by myself and had a comfortable queen size bed, chair with ottoman, desk and chair. Four pillows were provided with different densities. The bathroom was functional with the vanity and sink outside the toilet and shower room. There was an outside door and inside door to the hallway which was nice for convenient parking. The breakfast included with the room rate was completely filling-scrambled eggs, sausage links, sausage gravy and biscuits, belgian waffles, toast, bagels, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, instant oatmeal packages and four dry cereal choices, and some danishes. There were children swimming in the indoor pool and yet it was quiet in the hallways and rooms. I paid around $100 a night with tax included (March ski rate). I would highly recommend this hotel and it was right off I-70, easy off and easy on ramps.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! I'll make sure to pass your "room service" comments along to our restaurant personnel. They'll appreciate the "kudos".
