5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

I stayed here for three nights while in town for a family funeral. It is MOMENTS from the airport in a very convenient location close to the interstate. From the moment of my arrival, every single employee I had contact with was warm, friendly, and VERY efficient. When the toilet in my room didn't seem to be flushing properly due to low water pressure or needing a repair, I was immediately moved to another room - with profuse apologies and efficiency. When I passed a security person in the hallway, he was friendly and pleasant even while on his mission to identify which room the smell of marijuana was emanating from (although marijuana is legal in Colorado, the rooms are still "no smoking" as he so humorously informed us). In my comings and goings over three days, I passed many other personnel and everyone had a friendly smile and hello to offer. The atrium where the continental breakfast is served was spacious and clean. The common hallways and spaces were spotlessly clean, decorated in pleasant colors, and furnished with appealing items. There is only one bad thing I can say about this place: the walls are thin!! Imagine the frustration of getting into a super-comfy bed with fabulous pillows and freshly-laundered linens (smelled good - yummy!!) and then having trouble either falling asleep or staying asleep due to being able to hear things from the rooms next door. One morning, we woke up to the sound of someone blowing their nose (sounded like a foghorn!!). On another night, the people in the room next door were talking and laughing so loud that it truly felt as no walls separated us at all (they were obviously intoxicated due to them singing the theme from Rocky in the hallway as they located their room, their very loud conversation, and the way they were laughing hysterically at everything being discussed). I know I could've called the front desk and complained - especially when the clock read 1:30 a.m. - but I put my iPod in instead and fell asleep instantly. The one night that is was quiet, we slept very very well. We also spent a fair amount of time in the bar/restaurant and I'm hoping to review it separately. The place is called Pantuso and I can't rave enough about the owner, Chris Blackburn, and the service we received from Ryan.

Have stayed at this Clarion many times. First time we did have a issue with a backup in our tub. They immediately upgraded us to a King Suite. Indoor pool is nice, outdoor pool is very nice too, lots of room. Rooms always very clean. Wifi is very weak. Nice excercise room. The morning breakfast is alway decent, nothing to brag about, but better than most. Front check in is always curteous and pleasant. Always a nice stay.

Perhaps the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever not quite slept in. It felt like metal springs pushing up through very thin cloth.

The bathroom had quite a bit of other peoples hair.

The hot tub has no jets..(but a shut off switch for them)

The breakfast was pretty gross... cold, fault ridden scrambled eggs.
Great location... horrid sleep quality.

Nice place to stay. Was able to use both indoor and outdoor pool (last day of outdoor). Indoor pool was water was too warm. Nice size but there were only 3 of us in at a time. If more would have been crowded. Rooms very nice!! Breakfast good. Only issue ran out of bacon switched to sausage didn't care for that. Walking distance from fast food, gas station and village inn.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Spent a Friday and Saturday night at the hotel. The hotel room was o.k. Definately needed upgrading. My room had both an interior door and exterior door. Shared the room and I was in the bed closest to exterior door and it was reallly loud at night. My parents stated in a room in a different area of the hotel that apparently was nicer then ours. Only other complaint was breakfast. The hotel must have been full because when we went through the breakfast buffet (open from 6 AM to 10 AM at 7:30 AM they were out of everything including clean dishes. I was there for a conference so didn't have an option of going anywhere else. The breakfast on Sunday was much better, less crowded and the food was well stocked.

Standard American hotel. Would have liked a fridge in the room but otherwise good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Tip: the voucher for a free breakfast in the attached restaurant (which is a separate business) is better discarded - you get a bigger breakfast by going to the buffet in the atrium. Tip2: the bar often runs out of decent beer and anyway it closes at 10pm!!!!!! Tip3: there's a coffee station in the lobby where you can get little pots of cream to use instead of the powdered stuff they leave in your room with your coffee-maker.

Room Tip: Upstairs or you will probably have a car parked right outside your window.
