I stayed here for three nights while in town for a family funeral. It is MOMENTS from the airport in a very convenient location close to the interstate. From the moment of my arrival, every single employee I had contact with was warm, friendly, and VERY efficient. When the toilet in my room didn't seem to be flushing properly due to low water pressure or needing a repair, I was immediately moved to another room - with profuse apologies and efficiency. When I passed a security person in the hallway, he was friendly and pleasant even while on his mission to identify which room the smell of marijuana was emanating from (although marijuana is legal in Colorado, the rooms are still "no smoking" as he so humorously informed us). In my comings and goings over three days, I passed many other personnel and everyone had a friendly smile and hello to offer. The atrium where the continental breakfast is served was spacious and clean. The common hallways and spaces were spotlessly clean, decorated in pleasant colors, and furnished with appealing items. There is only one bad thing I can say about this place: the walls are thin!! Imagine the frustration of getting into a super-comfy bed with fabulous pillows and freshly-laundered linens (smelled good - yummy!!) and then having trouble either falling asleep or staying asleep due to being able to hear things from the rooms next door. One morning, we woke up to the sound of someone blowing their nose (sounded like a foghorn!!). On another night, the people in the room next door were talking and laughing so loud that it truly felt as no walls separated us at all (they were obviously intoxicated due to them singing the theme from Rocky in the hallway as they located their room, their very loud conversation, and the way they were laughing hysterically at everything being discussed). I know I could've called the front desk and complained - especially when the clock read 1:30 a.m. - but I put my iPod in instead and fell asleep instantly. The one night that is was quiet, we slept very very well. We also spent a fair amount of time in the bar/restaurant and I'm hoping to review it separately. The place is called Pantuso and I can't rave enough about the owner, Chris Blackburn, and the service we received from Ryan.
