We stayed 1 night at the Residence Inn. The staff was very friendly, and the room was nice. The breakfast in the morning was good, it is a typical continental buffet breakfast. The room was very clean, and comfortable. Our stay was quick, but it was very nice. Our only complaint was the large air conditioning units on the roof outside our room, they were quite noisy all night.

Stayed here on Marriott points and loved it so much we extended our stay. We had done a long fly drive trip and needed to rest. The Residence Inn is very new and the suites are fantastic. Breakfast was superb and free happy hour with hors d'oeurves was very unexpected. You Americans get a very good deal for your money - try the UK! Lovely soft water and we found plenty to do in GJ. Warning very easy to keep getting lost in the town when driving, get a map or SatNav.

We stayed at the hotel with our 2 pups for 2 nights. The hotel was clean and the rooms were nice with new towels!! The pet fee is $100.00 NON REFUNDABLE….which is the most expensive we have ever seen. A little surprised! The elevator and lobbies smelled bad – I don’t know if there was some sort of pipe problem or not. The pool is inside which is not very fun since it is 90 degrees plus outside and it would be great to cool off. The “hot” breakfast that is offered is not worth the time to walk down to the lobby. It was DISGUSTING!!! We did have one problem with a worker…he was in our room with the door shut when we came back from lunch. He made up some weird excuse that the sofa needed fixed, which we never called to be fixed. It was made us feel VERY uncomfortable!!!! Overall, good to okay hotel…just be careful!

We didn't expect much from this roadside stop, but it was great. Brand new, nice spacious rooms, helpful staff, clean. Complimentary breakfast was yummy with lots of choices including make your own waffles. Best thing though was complimentary happy hour - beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks between 5 - 7 in the lobby. The night we were there the 'snack' was hot roast meat with bread and salad. We didn't need dinner afterwards, and I think a lot of the people were the same. Mainly business people staying there, but we were there with our 2 year old and felt welcome.
