“Outstanding Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

We celebrated our 45th anniversary at The Winery. It was an outstanding experience! Our son lives in Clifton and he recommended this restaurant having dined here previously. It was everything he told us and more. The ambiance is warm and inviting, our service was fantastic and the wine list and menu notable. My husband and I both had the mixed grill consisting of beef medallions with a great sauce and seared scallops with an amazing pesto sauce. Both were delicious. We were also very pleased with our salads and sides. We opted for an incredible dessert to top off our celebration. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

“Little disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

One of our favorites but was not up to par the night we were there. Service was scattered and we had to flag someone down for water, drinks etc. Food just wasn't good. Hard to screw up a rare filet but they did. Potato was not completely cooked, Cesar's salad had the anchovies laid on top of the salad instead of mixed in with dressing. Disappointed

“Best Meal in USA over 20 days”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

Food first class, very modern, service excellent and ambiance so good as we were able to eat outside on a balmy evening, enhanced by live classical guitar music during the whole time we were there (he even played some Beatles arrangements!) Not cheap but well worth it.

“Overpriced, especially the wine”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

The food was average to good. The service was good. The prices were ridiculous. We are used to wine being 2 times liquor store price but here it was closer to 2.5 to 3 times. Not many patrons for a Friday night, locals are realizing it has become a tourist trap.

“There was service, but where's the food?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

We were staying in Grand Junction, and were told that this was a nice place to eat. We could not get an earlier dinner time, but when we arrived there were several empty tables. The server was very attentive, our tea and water glasses were never half empty, but our plates were. We ordered an appetizer, and waited. The waiter came and said sooty the kitchen I'd a bit backed up. Finally it arrived and was tasty. As he cleared, your salads will be right up, and we waited . The manager came with the salads and apologized, drinks or dessert on the house. Our dinners came, after being there for 1.5 hours...they were fair. No dessert for us, than you very much, and no comp on the bill either!
