“Such a nice place to wak and do a little shopping.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

There are restaurants with sidewalk tables, artsy places, clothing, sporting goods and a really nice fountain for the kids to play in (during warmer weather - it wasn't running in April). Some of the Art on the Corner is goofy and I didn't see the point. And some of it is great - the frog prince outside the toy store.

“Downtown Stores Close Way Early!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

While we were visiting we read an article in the local paper about downturn in sales tax revenues. Well, no wonder! Stores close early on Friday and Saturday nights, nothing for out of towners to do and money to spend!

“Great job”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

There is actually a town with some character. One can stroll and enjoy the art, have a beer or coffee and not fear for your life and inhale the exhaust fumes.

A really nice place, will go there again.

“Wow - they're trying!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

There are a few streets that have some very nice portions, looks like they have tried to increase the walking tourist appeal by creating some nice areas and installing some art sculptures, but overall, this city has to be one of the most confusing and disappointing places in CO I have been to. Street #s are very odd and difficult to figure out, plus it seems as if there was virtually no forethought put into city planning, with a LOT of industrial building mixed in amongst residential areas and many empty buildings (perhaps just another sign of the economy). One visit here was enough for me.

“Don't plan to shop on Sunday!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Loved the Main Street Bagel cafe, but very few businesses open on Suindays Who wants to stroll and only window shop? Its a quaint small town feel.
