This is a very nice downtown, with something for everybody. There are several good restaurants, a nice pizza joint, the Museum of Western Colorado, a wide range of shopping options that does not include typical mall-type shops. Summer festivals, with live music and local vendors setting up shop in the main street converted to a pedestrian mall are a must if you are in the area. Numerous public art displays and traffic calming designs for the main street make this a very walkable pleasant place to spend a few hours.
