“An Iconic All American Diner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Classic American diner breakfast with the right selection, preparation, portions and price. The atmosphere is a collection of the owners/staff and the decor which has collected since they opened over 40? yrs ago. Always busy and always good. If you are a regular breakfast type, this is the place to be. If you are just visiting Grand Junction, ditch that nasty hotel "free" stuff and enjoy breakfast here! Food they way it outta be......don't look for "inspiration" = just good diner food.

“A Dying Breed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

This is one of the last true diners. It offers friendly service, great food and reasonable prices. They offer breakfast all day and are only open until 2pm. It's the kind of place that remembers you ... even when you move away and only come back once per year.

Staff is fantastic and Lois still works the tables. Pam is our favorite and just celebrated 20 years.

Portions are large and almost everything is very good. Recommended are:
Biscuits and gravy
French toast
Pancakes
Hashbrowns
Breakfast Burrito
Chicken Fried Steak
Meatloaf

We have never had a burger here so I cannot say how they are. But our large group ate almost everything else this week. Note - this is not a place for groups unless you sit by 4's.

You almost can see Mel, Flo and Vera. Someone always cracks a joke. My kind of place.

“Uninspired quality all around.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Food and furnishings are far from anything to get excited about. If you like old-school cheap diners with lousy coffee and don't care much about food quality, this is may be your place. It does have old-school charm.

“I Love Lois' Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I would so much rather go to a small locally owned place to eat than a national chain. Although I do go to those as well. Lois' Place is as good as they get. The breakfasts and lunches are really good, the staff is great, and the value is very good. I go there about once a week.

“Great little secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

I first came here with a friend who was a regular, but it didn't take long before I was on a first-name basis with the staff. It's a great little ma and pa, hole in the wall, greasy spoon, whatever you want to call it, joint with some seriously good breakfast. Portions are crazy! I was starving, ordered pancakes, and only ate half my plate haha. It's a great place though, lots of character and affordable :)
