“Easter Eats!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Very nice Easter menu ranging from early morning eggs benedict to prime rib, ham, quiche and a kids menu after 10:30 a.m. with desserts and fruit and pasta salad and broccoli salad included. They always have special drinks such as frozen chai or coffees and soft drinks to order as well.

“Would highly recommend ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

We're visiting from out of state and selected Spoons from the Trip Advisor reviews. We were so pleased. We had quiche, a hamburger and a panini. All were fresh, warm and very good. It took very little time to order and receive the meal.

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Spoons is a bit dark and gloomy. There is a good choice for breakfast or brunch on the menu, with lots of egg dishes and a few quasi-Mexican dishes. It seems the kitchen is easily overloaded as service slows down well before the restaurant is half-full and the food arrives lukewarm. Modifying your dish has proved to be difficult to impossible. Meals averaged about $9 a person which, for a small omelette and some fruit, is a bit steep. I have been there twice in recent weeks and the staff seemed to be fighting with the register each time. There are better places in GJ but this location suited our needs.

“Great place for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2014

As this restaurant is attached the Hope West Hospice building, I figured it was going to be another typical hospital cafeteria. Boy was I wrong. Very pleasantly surprised. They have quite an assortment of breakfast and lunch items. Service and the staff is very pleasant and the food terrific. I had the special of the day, a soup and salad that was excellent. Was too cold to enjoy the patio the day I went, but will certainly be back to enjoy sitting outside and enjoying the courtyard.

“Fantastic Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

What a great place. I ordered Taquitas and was concerned it may not be enough. I think there were four and there were black beans and rice, served with salsa and guacamole.
