Last week I stayed at the Inn while visiting Colorado for my sister's wedding, (she lives near Granby) and had a fantastic time. I'd only visited Colorado a few times since she'd moved there, so the location of the resort was unbeatable; I drove to A-Basin and caught some great spring skiing -it was only 30 minutes or so from the resort- which I came to find out is located on the access road to Sol Vista ski resort. There's a rodeo just down the road from the Inn, you drive past it on your way to the Inn. What an experience! My room was very well-kept and clean; I believe new management has taken over the resort, from what people there have said, and there seems to be some renovations and general improvements taking place throughout the resort. I spent most of my spare time (of which there was not nearly enough) skiing or on the tennis courts in any case; being indoors at the Inn at SilverCreek's location is simply a waste of time.

Very run down!!! My husband and I stayed here in 1986 for a summer vaction. At that time the hotel was well cared for , clean and we had a great time. Returned with our children recently, the hotel is now very run down, dirty, terrible service. This hotel needs to be closed down or should do some major renovations!!

Arriving here the exterior and lobby were nice, quite deceptive when you actually walked into the hallway to where our room was located. The carpet in the room had a very funky smell. The furnishings were extremely outdated and you felt like you needed to put a sheet or plastic over them. This place is close to Winter Park, but if you wish to go to another ski resort, be prepared for a long haul. We advise taking route 40 to route 9, if visiting the A Basin or Keystone area. The room did have a fireplace but no matches were provided. The kitchen has lots of utensils and gadgets. It also had a balcony, which we left the door open to try and air out the funky smell of the carpet. We noticed and heard lots of families, people running down the hall, yelling to each other.

The rooms are a run down flashback from the seventies. If you're expecting to watch a movie make sure to bring your vhs tapes out from storage. Pets are definitely allowed and you can tell. The hotel lobby area and athletic club with outdoor hot tubs and pools are about its only good qualities. The rooms do feature a decent kitchen and a nice fire place but the whirlpool tubs listed as a great ammenity are disgusting and frankly a joke.

Our family stayed at this hotel last year and overall it was ok. We returned this year to find a pool towel policy that ended up costing us an extra $30.00. You receive pool towels on check-in that look just like everyone else’s. If you get them mixed up or someone else accidently takes your towel you are out $15.00 a towel. My son and his friend had two towels taken while they where in the sauna. When we reported it to the management we where charged $30.00 and lectured on personal responsibility for towel management. The only plus for the Inn was that is was family friendly and now that doesn't seem to be a priority. The room was nice but the bathroom had mold in it. I must agree with the other reviews that they do not care if you return.
