“Great place to be buried ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

At one time this had to be one of the most beautiful views in the city. Now as you look out from Buffalo Bills grave you see radio towers and other towers and wires. You can definitely see the Coors beer plant from the top. Gift shop is loaded with all kinds of cheap memorabilia. Lots of native American made products made it worth looking at. Didn't have time to do the museum but heard good things about it. Nice drive up. Worth a look if you need something to do to fill time.

“Amazing History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

Buffalo Bill was a man way ahead of his time. Going to the museum allows you to get a better appreciation for the man. Inspiring. And the view from here is beyond belief.

“Scenic drive and great history of Buffalo Bill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

The drive to the top of Lookout Mountain to visit Buffalo Bill's museum and grave is fantastic if you want a great view of Golden! You can even see downtown Denver off in the distance! We did the drive in the evening and unfortunately the museum was closed (closes at 5 pm in the summertime) but we did get to visit the grave and gift shop. Hated that we missed all of the history that the museum would have provided. The gift shop had some unique gift however! Views at the very top were obstructed by trees and towers - so don't hesitate to stop along the way for great pictures! Watch for bikers along the way - wow...what a workout for them!

“Very Interesting Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

The drive up the mountain offers spectacular views and lovely wildflowers. I found the museum very interesting and detailed. I learned Buffalo Bill was more than a showman. He was one of the first outspoken advocates for Native Americans and referred to Indians as "Americans" who deserved equal rights and fair treatment.

“Enjoyable stop, beautiful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

The drive up Lookout Mountain was beautiful and the museum is a nice little place, reasonably priced and interesting. Worth a drive to see the views and learn about Buffalo Bill Cody, and to see his resting place.
