5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

The motel is located in a very excellent location, and is very nicely designed. Rooms very clean, excellent staff, neighbors were inaudible. The breakfast was very good as well. Excellent value for anybody traveling to or through Glenwood Springs. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

This motel is in a great location, walking distance to attractions. The rate was very good and the rooms were basic but fairly spacious and also included a small fridge and microwave. The motel was very clean. Breakfast was okay, it got crowded at times but was okay. The staff were very nice and picked us up from the train station and also dropped us off again. They were very accommodating in letting us extend the checkout as well.

We came to Glenwood Springs for a couple days without a reservation to see what we'd find. This place looked nice from the outside (the flowers are so lovely!) so we came in and checked it out. The manager, Aleksandra, was very sweet as were the other staff we spoke to during our stay. The room was comfortable, the location's great, and we definitely got our money's worth!

Room Tip: We took a look at two rooms, the Budget and the Spoiler (twice as big, with a couch, more up to date...

The location is great, walking distance to downtown & a great view. I was expecting a nicer room for the money. The room smelled bad & the people were loud. Furnishings were scarce, no dvd player with the TV, the wireless was almost non-existent. Good continental breakfast though. The in-room jet tubs were nice, but very small for two people. The outdoor Jacuzzi was only available from 5-10 pm, and was dirty when we went to it. The pillows and beds were uncomfortable.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2012

Stayed here for one night in May 2012. The price for a room was extremely reasonable. Front office staff is polite and helpful. The decor is amusing, to say the least. And the TV in my room was an old boxy one plopped on a cheap round table. No frills here. The room itself is smaller than average but all I really wanted was a clean place to sleep and get a shower. This place definitely offers that. There is a coffee maker in the room, and a small refrigerator, which is a plus.

However, at about 2:00 a.m. a carload of drunk people arrived and began hooting, hollering, and singing outside guests' doors. I thought it would die down in a minute or two but when it didn't, I called the office. They responded quickly and the drunks went to their rooms. Then, at about 6 a.m., someone started up their very loud diesel truck and let it run for about 10 minutes. Must have woken up everyone on that entire side of the motel. An hour later, another diesel truck, same thing. Also, as people leave, they can make a lot of noise outside people's rooms and I again was awoken twice more sometime early in the morning by children running around and squealing on and off until finally, they left.

Although none of these incidents are the motel's fault, I think I'll stay somewhere a little nicer next time. You're taking a risk when you stay anyplace which has an outside entrance, and where you can park right outside your room It's JUST too noisy, and in the end, I think I got only about 4 1/2 hours' sleep that night. Not worth it.
