I always make a trip to the Italian Underground for pizza on my trip to Glenwood. There aren't a whole lot of restaurants in town and this is one for a good piece of pie.

Limited pasta menu (mostly variations with spaghetti and linguine noodles) ... no cavatelli, gnocci, etc. Fantastic service, great wine selection (and I'm not big on wine), most meals under $16. Good individual salad, awesome bread (you spread on a surprising garlic butter) and choice of ice cream came with my clam linguine. My friends had the lobster ravioli special and raved. Free cheesecake with raspberry sauce and not-soggy tasty graham crust is delivered with a candle and without embarrassing singing for your birthday. Sit at the bar with a glass of wine while you wait for your table, but be careful; the wash room is located on the next story above you. 2 flights of stairs + 1 glass of wine / 1 empty tummy = use the hand rail. Parking may take patience although we had no problem. Dress is casual. Although the hotel staff said we could wear our ball caps inside, I won't next time.

The best ever! The food was great! The service was excellent! The waiter recommended a great wine with our dinner and it was the perfect combination.

Worth the wait!

We ate here a few months back. The atmosphere was great and the food was tasty. We'll be going back again for sure!
