Stayed recently and was a little nervous. Was very pleasantly surprised. Nothing fancy but the rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful and breakfast was included.

The rates were great and the fairest by far of all the places I stayed on my recent road trip vacation.

It aint the Ritz but you can't beat the price for a nice and very clean motel.

Plan to stay again when I ski Aspen this winter.

I needing a place with 16 rooms around a death in the family. Am familiar with Glenwood and checked my ususal favorites without finding availability. The manager worked with me to get exactly what I needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We used outdoor facilities with gardens, enjoyed the pool and the spa. They exceeded my expectations. Not saying that there isn't fancier lodging in town. I'm just wondering why I would leave all that money on the table. Across the street from Starbucks, Safeway, Wendy's and Arby's.

We stayed in the house which was absolutely perfect. 4 good sized bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen and a big living room. The house was great and we stayed for a week. The motel itself is in a beautiful environment. The views of the red cliffs are stunning. It's about 1 mile from town but the free Ride Glenwood bus stops right outside the motel and runs every 30 mins. Great!

A really nice place and very friendly owners in one of our favourite American towns,

The Cedar Lodge Motel is a good value in comparison to other places in Glenwood Springs. The room is basic, but better than just clean. It's ample sized, with a microwave and little fridge. The motel itself has lovely grounds for a budget place, with picnic areas and gas grills. There are two swimming pools, and outdoor and an indoor, with a hot tub and sauna. We were there on a weekday and had the swimming pool to ourselves. The motel is not next to I-70, so it's pretty quiet, but it's only about a mile and a half into the main part of town. The Cedar Lodge claims to serve an "expanded" continental breakfast, which consisted of cereal, yogurt and things you can put in a toaster to go with the coffee, juice and milk. Actually, they could have used a little fresh fruit and it would have raised the level of breakfast considerably. I would really recommend the Cedar Lodge Motel if you are looking for a well valued stay in Glenwood Springs.

The first time my family and I stayed at the Cedar Lodge Was during the ski season. We chose to stay at this place because they had great ski packages and packages to the Hot Springs Pool. We also liked the idea of having an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. They were also running a promotion of stay two nights and get one night free. We liked this place because the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The continental breakfast was good. My favorite was the french toast and the blueberry waffles. The second time we stayed at the Cedar Lodge was this summer. We liked it even better because they also had their outdoor pool open. The price was very reasonable for all of the amenities they have to offer. This is a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Stayed here on our way from Utah to Aspen. The hotel is average.

CONS- We were in a non-smoking room, but it smelt as if it were a smoking room. The refrigerator didn't work in the room. Outdoor and indoor pools were supposed to be heated, but they weren't, or didn't feel like it at all. Breakfast room was crowded- options were bagels, donuts, cereal, juice and coffee.

PROS- They did have Comcast Cable, with many channels and On-Demand, which was great for our 2 year old daughter. Room was clean. Nice staff. In walking distance to Safeway grocery store, a couple of gas stations/convenience stores, Arby's, Wendy's, and Taco Bell.
