“Good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

$80 a night. Clean yet nothing fancy. On the main street minutes from food, grocery stores, springs and mountain adventure. Cheap soap and shampoo, conditioner. Lots of clean, white towels, hand towels and wash clothes. Free WiFi.

We enjoy staying here. It's very very clean; we can cook and eat at hotel which is a great money saver-the pools are great--and they have a variety of rooms. love the outdoor grills! Very family friendly. nice breakfast No complaints.

Room Tip: Family of five--kitchenette

Good place for the price. It is on the older side, but maintained extremely well. Everything was very clean, and not just because they replaced with new, but they actually maintained it. Pools were nice, hot tub too. Breakfast was ok. Location was fine but the road it is on is very busy. Our room was a 3 bed - clean and comfortable. Overall, well worth the price if you don't mind being a little ways from the action. Only gripe was wireless internet was very weak but they did attempt to fix it.

Room Tip: Its a small town - don't worry about where the hotel is located go for value.

We staying in here for two nights and the room was perfect. It was clean and comfortable! What made the stay enjoyable was that the staff were so amazingly helpful and went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable. They offered lots of advice and on the final day personally ran us to to amtrak station as a favour which was so lovely as a traveller with a huge rucksack!! I would recommend a stay in glenwood springs in every trip to the US

For the price, it was fine. The rooms were suitable, the beds were comfortable and shower worked great. The breakfast they offered was decent and included in the room price. We asked for a coffee pot to be brought to our room and they did. The internet service worked well in the office, but very slow or not at all in our room. There was an outside pool and indoor pool. We never used the hot tub because there was too many kids playing in it. If we were to visit Glenwood Springs again, we would consider staying at the Cedar Lodge.

For the money, Cedar Lodge Motel in Glenwood Springs is a very good value. A group of us stayed in two rooms for one night.

It's an old-school vintage 60's motel with the pool in the parking lot, with parking around it. If you get there early enough, or if it's not busy, you can park directly in front of your room, which makes it easy to unload your luggage.

Yes, the rooms are a little blah, but they do have several good things going for them: The room was clean. They have a fridge. The A/C worked well. The shower was good. The bed was actually pretty good for a hotel bed; I slept well that night. They had a decent breakfast selection in a separate breakfast room. The employees at the lobby were nice.

It's only a mile or two past the main downtown area so it's easy to find and get around the town. There are a lot of places that are walk-able too right nearby. There is a grocery store across the street. There is a liquor store a block away. There is a great pizza place - Uncle's Pizza - nearby too, though I would order delivery from there.

Yes, it is not the fanciest place in the world, so don't go in expecting the Four Seasons. But for the money, Cedar Lodge Motel is a good place to stay. I would definitely stay there again in the future. Definitely recommended.

I only stayed here for one night but would have been happy to stay longer.
I had a room with one bed. I thought it was comfortable and slept well. Plenty of towels, the shower worked well and was hot. There was an old school tv, fridge and microwave – none of which I actually used. Everything was nice and clean. The breakfast room was well stocked with cereal, things to toast, pastries and fruit.
I was driving and the motel was easy to find and had plenty of parking. There were some people staying who had arrived by train and they were advised to use the local bus which stops right outside. There are places to get fast food and a supermarket nearby.
