“Nice Room, Nice Motel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2014

We stayed only one night. We stayed in the room next to the office. It was smaller than the other rooms, but it worked for us! It didn't have a microwave or fridge, but we didn't need it. Kids liked the soft blankets. I liked that our car was parked right by our door. There was coffee, some food, and candy in the office in the morning - perfect. If you're going to Hanging Lake - stay here. The only negative was they gave us a tv remote that needed to be programmed, couldn't figure it out, so we just had the tv on low. It didn't matter because we all passed out quickly after going to Hanging Lake. The next morning my husband figured out how to turn the sound up. We will add that to our summer 2014 trip memories!

My family and I stayed here for two nights to visit the hot springs. The rooms are clean, two doubles are perfectly fit. There wasnt an iron or coffee maker but otherwise there was nothing wrong with the rooms. The registration clerk was nice and polite, and even told us about hanging lake and when to visit the hot springs like the locals: before 11 am

We didn't spend much time here - arrived at 10:30 after calling ahead and telling them we'd be late, and left early in the morning before breakfast. We just needed a place to crash on our way to Moab. The lady who I had spoken with on the phone and who stayed until 10:30 to check us in was very friendly and helpful. The other lady (she had an accent) was rather short with me and not very friendly. Maybe she's an introvert? Quite frankly, part of the reason we didn't stay for breakfast was that she was in there and we didn't feel comfortable. The room was very large, looked updated, and was very clean. I appreciated the white bed linens with extra cheetah blanket :) in place of a bed spread which a lot of motels seem to be hanging on to. It took me awhile to find the ice machine but there is one; it is located behind the bakery restaurant that is attached to the property. I tried to use the pop machine but be warned - it takes quarters only. There is also free wifi. Overall for the few hours we were there it more than met our needs and the price was right.

Check-in time is 3:00 PM. We arrived at 1:00 PM and were told that our room would be ready in an hour. We came back after lunch and the room was still not ready, it was now 3:20. That began our stay on a rather bad note. The rooms are clean and the location is good, especially since it's next door to Rosi's restaurant (yum!).

We enjoyed our stay in Glenwood Springs very much. This hotel is conveniently located and not too expensive. The room was clean and spacious, with a refrigerator and a microwave, and the front desk staff was always very helpful. We stayed 4 nights. The mattresses are on the soft side, which we like, but if you need a firmer mattress, they may not be to your taste.

Very friendly service. Our room was very clean and comfortable, very functional for our stay. Within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Amazing views of the mountain sides. A much better choice than the chain hotel across the street. Excellent Mexican restaurant a few steps away.

Glenwood Springs is full of higher end lodging. My girlfriend and I are on a budget, and didn't need a fancy affair anyway. We decided on the Glenwood Springs Inn and have been very happy with our stay. A clean, remodeled room; within walking distance of everything we needed; and good friendly service from a family that has been rooted here a while. We are very satisfied! Our only complaint - no coffee makers in the rooms. There was plenty of coffee in the lobby, however, and a nice continental breakfast, so it all worked out.
