“Great place to stay for the price.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

When I go on vacation, I spend little time in the room so my big concern is always the bed. I would totally stay at Glenwood Motor Inn and would recommend it to friends. The price was great, the service was excellent. Anything we asked the staff for, we got, (extra pillows, something to wrap our pizza in, etc.) The shower was really good. We took the train in and walked everywhere and this motel was centrally located for our trip. Close to the Adventure park, Hot Springs, and Amtrak station. The bed was very comfortable for my liking. Not too firm and not too soft. The walls were thick enough I couldn't hear people on either side of us and heard little walking upstairs Great place!!

This is a motel owned by a wonderfully kind Polish family who definitely know the definition of European hospitality. The rooms are perfectly furnished with a vanity, microwave, fridge and table and chairs. The bed was extremely comfortable and warm! Which is a definitely plus in that area. The microfleece blanket had panthers all over it which we loved! The bathroom has this retro green tiling with the old metal shelf and mirror. Some people may find this dated but we totally enjoyed it. The service was fantastic! The family is so nice and accommodating and very helpful. It was also nice for my boyfriend who's straight off the boat from Poland. That definitely added to the experience.

We always stay at the Hot Springs Lodge, however we thought we would try this place. We picked it because Rosi Bavarian Restaurant was on site. Love their benedicts & crepes! The hotel offered breakfast voucher which saved us some money. The room was a bit outdated but it was clean, staff was helpful. Worked out just fine for quick 2 nt stay. Tequilas (voted best by locals) is right across the street - food & margs were yummy (plenty of food). When I couldn't complete by booking online Josie the owner help me over the phone & matched the price. Will return again.

Not quite a vacation destination place to stay but for the price, it was not bad for a 2 night stay.
Very clean & staff was great! However the rooms were extremely dated & no slide lock or dead bolts. Only a Door knob lock which was a safety concern. Soda machine was broken & the door to the ice machine in the next door property was locked. So zero amenities. No coffee pot in rooms so in the morning, you have to get dressed & go to lobby for bagels, muffins & coffee. They do have a microwave & fridge in the rooms.

As for location.... the Bavarian restaurant on the property had great breakfast but nothing that great for dinner within walking distance. The hot springs is in walking distance but it is a LONG walk & you would freeze if it were in the winter.

Clean - inexpensive & great place to stop for the night.

Excellent location, .2 miles from the Hot Springs, very easy walking distance. I drove up for one night from Boulder to take my kids to the hot springs pool over the Martin Luther King holiday. It met my three requirements, proximity to the Hot Springs, Cleanliness and safety. It is very affordable! The Best Western Antlers is next door and the Ramada is across the street, so the location of the Glenwood Motor Inn is as good or better than the name brand hotels, except you'll pay much less. It is a motel, so it is spartan as most motels are. It was extremely clean! the beds were comfortable, although I would bring my pillow from home, but I'd do that anytime I can, including car camping. We stayed warm and slept very well now we are ready to swim! With the money we saved staying here, it'll pay for the pool, dinner and breakfast.
Bonuses included; WiFi and flat screen TV's.

Room Tip: We were upstairs in room 220, close to the office. When we checked in they asked the kids not jump a...

Nice price and a quiet location, good price. Loved Rosi's restaurant next door (though a bit pricy?) and the fact that we were close enough to walk over to the hot springs. Rooms are no frills, not fancy, but not lacking either, and the yellow walls are a warm touch. I think the owner gave us a larger room than we had originally booked. It was #15 I think, and decently sized for a family of three. Small bathroom though (toilet and shower, sink was on the outside/in the room. Glad to have a fridge and microwave. When on a road trip this is a requirement! Plenty of hot water in the shower. Noisy walker persons above us but after 10 minutes or so at a period they seemed to stop wandering their room. Very slow wireless...pretty much non-functional, but that was probably due to distance from the base. Closer to the office likely would have had better connection.

The owners are very friendly. The room was very clean. We stay each year on a road trip. Would recommend to all, price is super value. Be sure to eat breakfast next door at Rosi's Little Bavarian, yum! Had problems when we ate at Tequila's across the street for dinner, poor service, rude manager when we complained.
