“Very good retro diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

How's boomerang table tops and a James Dean poster for starters? I had the meatloaf special. Good choice. Thick slab with mashed potatoes and green beans for $8.95. My wife used to make meatloaf like this before she switched to turkey loaf. It's not the same. Strongly recommend this place.

“Great little diner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

If you like the good ol' diners with the retro feel, this one is for you. Kind of on the order of a little dive with great food, and very fast and attentive service. We were in there late and there appeared to be a shortage of servers, yet we were attended to immediately. Our food could have been a bit warmer. I ordered a pork sandwich which was tender and yummy. Good sized portions. My friend ordered soup of the day with a salad which she praised profusely. Good value as well. We were planning to eat breakfast there the next day but couldn't find a parking place within a block and a half. The diner was extremely busy--at 9:30 in the morning!

“Home Cookin', Locals, and a great Bar!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

Dinner at the Diner! The bar separate from the diner area was jumping...may have been due to the downpour of rain outside. The 'campfire' soup is a must try item. Everything including the kitchen sink makes this a hearty, tasty soup great for a rainy, cool night. I also enjoyed a huge plate of beef tips, mushroom sauce with noodles. As a was about to leave I remembered that I did a hard hike and deserved a dessert item...hence the cherry malt to go hit the spot!

Enjoy your food & drink where the locals go!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013 via mobile

We stumbled upon this place and are so happy we stopped in. The breakfast came out fast and was excellent. The staff was friendly and boy do they work their butts off! I had their special, which was the cinnamon roll French toast. I definite must try!!!!
