“Nice caverns”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

We visited the caverns and enjoyed the tour. The walk is easy and the guides allow time for those who may have more difficulty the time to navigagte the steps and trails. The glowing stalactites and stalgmites were very pretty. Not as extensive as Calsbad caverns but a very pleasant experience. The gondola ride to the top of the mountain to enter the caverns offers a nice view over looking Glenwood Springs.

“Small park but big thrills”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Spent a Friday at the Adventure Park and had a blast. Very few people were there during the weekdays this time of year so there were no lines. The Alpine Slide was long and fast and whatever you do, don't use the brake. I tried the swing both directions and actually found that facing out over the cliff was scarier. The views from the swing straight down to I-70 were unforgettable. In fact, the views from anywhere in the park were great. Definitely a lot of fun even for an old fart like me.

Dear MountainMurf,
It's great to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the park. September is a good time to visit to avoid the summer crowds, but still enjoy our beautiful weather. We think the swing is scary on both sides, but agree about the no-brakes suggestion! Thanks for spending some time with us and for taking the time to share your review.

“The amusement park is fun, caverns have fabulous guides!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

The amusement park part is small but fun for the family. I would definitely recommend this attraction if in Glenwood Springs and you have kids around 5+ years old (our littlest is 3 and there was only 1 ride that she really liked, but she is also pretty timid around rides). The alpine coaster is so much fun for the adults and our 7 and 9 year olds. The caverns were not as "neat looking" as some of the ones we've visited around St. Louis and Branson, but still worth seeing. The guides kept it so fun....they were a husband/wife trio and they kind of joked with each other when our groups would pass each other. Our girl guide was so knowledgable and she kept it interesting with the stories behind the cave. We spent the whole day up on the mountain top.

“SO MUCH FUN!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

We visited Glenwood Caverns while visiting family that lives near by and so thankful we did! It starts with that ride up the mountain, it was incredible! The view was beautiful!! We did the maze and that was so fun! Our group aged from 15-52 years old, and we weren't really looking for roller coasters so it was perfect for us. We did the bull riding, old time photos and mini-roller coaster on the hillside (though we saw a bear cub!! lol nerve wrecking but cool!), and the rock wall! We did it all! The tour of the caves is great, areas large enough and roped off for photo ops in all the right places, tour guides that were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! The weather turned sour on us and we ran for the restaurant that we had previously planned to skip and so glad we did! It was a little pricey in the $15 per person range but definitely worth it! This place is great for families, a MUST SEE in our book! Can't wait to go back!
