When my husband's company gave us a tight relocation budget for moving back to Denver I struggled to find a fairly inexpensive quality hotel in Denver and chose the Hampton Inn after reading other peoples reviews. I am so glad we did. It was a great stay.
This hotel first off was quiet. Quieter even than a recent hotel we had stayed at that was supposed to be sound-proof. I never once heard our neighbors at the Hampton Inn.
The beds were plush, pillow-top and very soft and supportive with quality pillows and very clean white duvet covers. Perhaps a little soft if you have back trouble, but they were pretty dreamy after our long travels. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was on the ball and flexible if you needed a little more time.
The complimentary breakfast was above standard for continental, but it gets redundant if you stay for several days, still nice to have though. The wi-fi in room and the business center for printing etc. and the guest laundry room all made staying here quite handy.
We found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and prompt to fulfill our needs.
My only complaints are tiny... I laughed when I saw that "too powerful of a/c" review, but it's true! The a/c and heat just blast! You wind up having to adjust your room temp a lot. Also, more than once our room keys kept inactivating for no reason. Other than that a surprisingly great stay for what seemed like it would be run of the mill. I highly recommend it a as a quality budget hotel.
