Whether you pay attention to food presentation, beautiful appointments and room decorations, protection of scenic vistas, comfortable beds with at least 1,000 thread count linens, hot showers or soaking tubs, pristine saline swimming pools, steamy private hot tubs, outdoor showers, automatic bathroom lighting, the songs of the bull frogs, the accommodating and friendly employees, and on and on . . . there is nothing more evident than the ATTENTION to DETAIL at this oasis in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere meaning in the heart of Unaweep Canyon. Here the lush valley floor rises into towering, granite mountaintops. There are sparkling streams that have cottonwoods and aspens and all types of beautiful flora growing beside them. Probably the most grandiose sight is the towering red sandstone landmark called The Palisade. Looking to the west, the horizon is silhouetted by the La Sal Mountains. The quality and character of the landscaping helps to define the self-image of the resort's surroundings. It doesn't matter if the visitor wants to just escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and be a pampered couch potato or s/he wants to fill every minute of the day with activities, this place is for everyone. It is a bit on the expensive side, but isn't there a saying, "You get what you pay for?" Go there and:.

This list is never-ending . . . My husband and I make a point to try to visit here at least twice a year. The personal attention we receive from Miss Tammy, Miss Sandy, and Michael the copter pilot is exceptional. Be sure to check their website for details. For anyone not within driving distance, fly into Grand Junction and make the beautiful 90 minute drive to this exceptional place, where Attention to Detail seems to be their motto.
