There's nothing like relaxing in the hot tub, during a snow. This place is clean, in an excellent location, the staff is friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is great, they even have cheese omelets if you're there early enough. They serve cookies on the weekends. We were there around Halloween, and the staff would give candy (nice candy bars, and skittles, not cheap suckers) to my children each time they would pass the front desk.
The other guests were quiet but friendly.
No complaints at all.
We got shocked every time we would touch the button for the elevator, by static electricity, but that's not something that can be avoided, or fixed by the staff. It was probably just the season and weather.

They were just beginning a full remodel when we stayed, but you could never guess it by staying there. Unless you're a construction worker who notices the containers and dumpster in the back of the parking lot. I asked the front desk, and they confirmed that they were remodeling, but being cautious to not disturb any guests. They did an excellent job of it.
I can't wait to go stay again, now that it's newly remodeled.
It was the least expensive of all the hotels in driving distance from there when we stayed. I hope it stays that way even after the remodel.

Overall the hotel was okay, but there was some problems. Once we entered the room there was a shower cap on the smoke detector and two different dirty socks under the bed. In the morning we went downstairs to get our breakfast. There was 30 minutes left until breakfast was over and many of the items were gone and not being restocked. We had to ask the front desk lady for sugar and forks. She directed us to look through the cupboards and find it ourselves. When we entered the dining area, all of the available tables were dirty and people had to clean them off themselves if they wanted to sit down. While waiting in line for breakfast, we had to wait behind someone working at the hotel to finish making their breakfast.
