I stayed at the Alpine inn in the first week of the year, what a great hotel best hotel for the money ever, big spacious rooms, nice independent heaters for the rooms (kept the temperature really nice), very clean bathrooms, and great beds. we never went to the pool, to busy snowboarding, but a lot of people there seem to be having a great time. The hotel is centrally located, since we where going to breck, keystone, vail and beaver creek. There is plenty of stores withing a mile, including a walmart like 3 ski rental places, and all the fast food restaurants you need, theres a gas station like 200 ft from the hotel, and its located next to the Dillon lodge best western. If you want to take the bus instead of driving the bus stop is right there next to the hotel. The hotel is also right next to I-70 so you can just get in your car and leave fast with not to many stop lights. the breakfast was ok, nothing special but enought to keep the hunger away. In sumary if your in a budget, definetly make reservations in this place you wont regret it, this is my stop from now on every time ill go to Colorado.
P.S. maybe youl get a powder day, just like i did. What a day that was, :)

Our family recently stayed at the Alpine Inn in Frisco, Colorado. The accomodations were perfect for us- two adults traveling with two teenagers. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. A continental breakfast was included in the incredible value. Friends staying elsewhere in the area could not believe the difference in the amount they paid per night and the amount we paid. As it was Christmas time, the grounds were decorated with lighted trees giving it a warm, smalll inn feeling. My only complaint would be in the walking path and distance to the free shuttle stop. Though not an incredibly long distance, carrying skis and boots it sometimes felt like it and there was one road to cross. I estimate the distance to be about 200 yards. All in all, however, I would gladly stay there again and go the distance to save hundreds of dollars and stay in a location central to so many ski resorts on a free shuttle route. It was a terrific choice for an active, budget-minded family with older kids!

We stayed here due to a recommendation on this site and were not disappointed. We wanted a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable place to stay and we did receive this. We stayed on the bottom floor and could hear kids running up and down to hall in the morning. We didn't have their continental breakfast but it did look minimal. However we would stay there again.

High thread count linens, thick bath towels, a comfortable bed, and VERY CLEAN. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way except breakfast. Breakfast was minimal (Donuts & Danishes) but appreciated. Good Job to a hard working staff! I'll be back.
