This was the cheapest hotel that we said in on our trip and included breakfast. Although the hotel was a little 'rough around the edges' the room and bathroom matched hotels charging twice as much. Don't be put off by the location near the interstate, we had a room facing the road and we didn't hear anything. However, the location isn't great for eating out in the evening, you need to drive back into town. Although breakfast wasn't very good - just coffee, juice and muffins/pastries and you need to take it back to your room - we didn't really find this a problem, and it being included in the price was a bonus.
We stayed here after struggling to find accommodation in Breckenridge and we found both Frisco and the Alpine Inn a great location to stay.

We stayed here back in February to see the snow. Boy did we see snow!!! Unfortunately while there my son became sick with strep throat and altitude sickness so we had to cut our visit short and make a trip to the doctor. There was only one doctor in town, and they didn't take our insurance, so this was pretty expensive! The hotel was perfect for us, the pool was nice (a little cool for me, but the non-sick kids loved it) and the local restaurants were nice. I really enjoyed being able to support a non-chain hotel. The only problem we did have was on the phone we were told that all five of us couldn't be in one room. We had to call back to speak to someone else to find out that we actually could share a room (the kids are 2, 4, and 6) We did have to sleep three in one bed, but the bed was large enough it wasn't a problem. They do have cots but for a fee.

I booked this hotel with a bit of trepidation, but of all the hotels in the area it had the best reviews so I reluctantly went for it. It lived up to the reviews - VERY CLEAN (always my biggest requirement), beds comfortable but not luxurious, conveniently located, the pool area and hot tub were very nice, and the price was amazingly great. I hope to ski in the area again and will certainly plan to stay here next time.

I generally trust Trip Advisor so when we were planning our dream ski trip to Summit County, we chose to stay here. Several years ago, we stayed at the Best Western next door but your review wasn't so good of that hotel so we chose to stay at Alpine. My main concern is a CLEAN hotel with NO PETS! This hotel was clean and no pets. I was also glad for the micro and fridge. The room size is just average and the bathroom is quite small, but we didn't hear the interstate noise as someone had suggested. We went out for breakfast, as we prefer a good hot meal before a day of skiing. Also they do not offer anywhere to sit and eat their continental breakfast. You have to go back to your room. The main disappointment I experienced, which wasn't mentioned was that there is no elevator and no luggage carrier to load your luggage on to carry it from your car to your room. We stayed for 5 days so that was a lot of separate trips to get all of our luggage into our room and then it took a long time to make 6 or 7 trips hauling it all out the morning we left. Also, from like 10;00 at night until like 7:00 in the morning there is NO ONE at the front desk. When we checked out, there was no one to turn the key into or check out and if you come in late and have a question or need extra linens, there is no one there. But I would stay here again.

  • Liked — clean room
  • Disliked — no luggage carts to haul suitcases to room; nobody at front desk at night and early morning

Right off the highway at first glance this does not appear to be such an appealing spot. That said for $65/night this was a fine hotel. Nice staff, large, clean room, beds were nothing special but fine, small indoor pool, wireless. Breakfast was muffins and coffee.
