“Good for what it is.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

If all you want is an inexpensive place to stay while you ski Summit County resorts, the Alpine Inn is a solid choice. Stayed here for a couple nights in early March while a buddy and I skied Copper Mountain. Our room was sparse but clean. The shower had plenty of hot water. The hotel advertises a continental breakfast, but overlook this or you'll be disappointed. There's a shopping center around the corner where you can buy some fruit and a muffin. The hotel also offers an indoor pool and a small hot tub, but we didn't use these. Each morning, we were at Copper Mountain within 10 minutes of pulling out of the Alpine Inn parking lot. Manage your expectations and you'll have a nice stay at the Alpine Inn.

Room Tip: Renting skis? Drive just a couple of miles to Silverthorne and go to Virgin Island Ski Rentals. Thes...

“Good for what it is”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2012

Great place to stay for the price. Easy access to several ski areas, so it's perfect for crashing the night before/after skiing.

“Resaonable”

Located between several ski slopes- so easy to pick a new one each day.
Clean, comfortable beds, hot tub and pool, good nights sleep and continental breakfast.

“This place has slipped since our last visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and have always been satisfied with the rooms and the basic cleaniness of the place. This past weekend we stayed for 2 nights and were a bit disappointed in it. The room was ok but our towels and shower mat(I have better towels to wipe down my car) were very worn out and rough. The hot tub on Saturday was hot and clean but on Sunday it was cool and it looked like someone who hadn't washed in a month had gotten in it and cleaned themselves. Yes this place is a bit worn but it should not be as in bad of shape as it was this past weekend. Hopefully this is a bump in the road and not the new norm.

“Don't expect too much”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2012

Very basic hotel, reasonably clean and cosy, but quite worn. Staff was rather unfriendly and made you feel like a pest if you had any questions. Very poor breakfast with no place to eat it other than your own bed. Good location, close to Summit Stage bus stop which gets you easily to the ski slopes, but surprisingly there are no ski lockers in the hotel! All in all, acceptable if you're looking for a cheap accommodation, but don't expect too much!
