Great motel to access Copper and Breckenridge on a budget. Good Student accom with simple amenities.The free buses to Copper and Breck land on your door step at the Snowshoe Motel every 30 minutes and the mountain is about 15 minutes away. Yes, the walls are thin but you're not paying 4 star prices. Other convenient amenitites: laundromat is 80 metres across the road, Safeway and Walmart a short bus ride down the road. Don't pay extra for a room with internet access (as expedia tries to do). The whole motel is wifi free and parts of Frisco like town hall and library are free wifi spots. Colorado Mountain Express shuttles leave from Denver Airport and cost US$73 one way. Trip takes about 2hrs 40min to Frisco. For the budget traveller this motel is right on the money.

My vehicle was vandalized while staying my single night at the Snowshoe in Frisco. I called the front desk first thing in the morning, and informed them that my vehicle was vandalized over night while on there property. Peter's response was "so". I asked what he ment by "so". He replied by saying,"so what do you want me to do about it?"

I was able to get them to call police to file a report. While speaking to the officer he replied that the Frisco PD has recieved other complaints about the emplyees/management. The officer said that they were "odd".

Mangers names are Alina and Bob Stasiowski. If you stay there, make sure they are no longer the managers.

I recently stayed at the Snowshoe Motel and had an all-around good experience. We had traveled by Amtrak which meant getting into Denver early morning. It was 10:30 a.m. when we arrived at the Snowshoe and I since our room was ready we were able to check in at that time. Our room was clean and had the added bonus of a refrigerator and microwave. The continental breakfast was great, as was the access to high speed internet. The day we were leaving our train wasn't going out until the evening and we were able to stay later than the posted checkout time with no additional charge. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Snowshoe definitely went above my expectations, especially for the price I paid. I plan on staying there a couple times a year when visiting my son.

Not a nice place - beware of prepaid reservations. The furnishings are ancient and not all that clean looking. The beds did not have fitted sheets - major nuisance. The closet doors fell off when we opened them. The fold-out couch and roll-away bed were both not useable at all. The shower turned to cold water after 10 minutes. Internet access was spotty. Very loud - could hear everything from the street at 2 am.
