“Lovely B&B in the heart of Frisco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Went to Keystone for hubby to attend a business conference, and then decided to stay in Frisco after the conference ended. Frisco is a cool little gem that is normally associated with ski season, but we were here in the off season so got a room with ease.

This B&B is located right on Main Street in Frisco. Restaurants, shops, bars abound. Perfect! We asked for a room with a king sized bed. Was given room 17. It is small but decorated in a lovely old Victorian style. There was a microwave and a mini fridge in the unit. The grounds on the property was small but very lovely. A small waterfall and garden. There was an outdoor fireplace and a jacuzzi, we did not use this space, but it looked nice, I arose early and went out and sat in the garden, it was so peaceful and a lovely place to pray.

The owners were nice and friendly. They have a wine and cheese reception at 5:30 pm which was great, Max, the Golden Retriever, who I'm not sure whom he belongs to, was in attendance, and he never left my husband's side, (of course, that mave had something to do with my hubby slipping him food under the table) they also serve breakfast in the morning. Did not make it to that , I was enjoying the garden, hubby sadly had a conference call that prevented us from f
Doing the breakfast. Will go again! A lovely place in Frisco .

Susan, the owner was so helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, quaint and special. Afternoon wine, cheese and other snacks was enjoyable. The flowers and water features were beautiful. And despite a power outtage, the breakfast the next day was still delectable, even though they apologized it took longer to refill the pans. Try the baked granola! And when you get a tip from the owner or staff of where to eat or what to do, listen up! We cannot wait to visit again!

Especially given the options in Summit County (lots of generic highway-side motels, lots of really expensive higher-end lodges), Frisco Lodge is a real gem. We stayed in the main lodge and the room was very cute, very clean and very quiet. The staff at the lodge are very service-oriented: helped us put our bikes in their locked bike room, helped one of our family members book a shuttle to Denver, and so on. The afternoon happy hour at the lodge is a really nice touch and the breakfast was delicious, with individually -made espresso drinks!

Stopped in Frisco on our way across the country. Looking for an interesting place to spend the night rather than one of the chains we had been frequenting. Pleasantly surprised by the town of Frisco. Lots of character in a beautiful setting. The Frisco lodge dates back to 1885 but is very well maintained, clean and quiet. Staff were friendly, helpful.

We'll be back.

We stumbled across the Frisco Lodge by accident and were very happy that we did. We really enjoyed the full breakfast and afternoon wine & cheese. The folks who run the hotel were especially warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we'd happily recommend this inn to our closest friends and family. We look forward to returning.

Room Tip: we really liked room #24, on the end with a really nice mountain view.

We enjoyed our stay more than anticipated at this quaint B&B. We were looking for a quiet place to spend a couple days to unwind & hike on our drive through Colorado. We picked Frisco because it seemed less busy & crowded than other towns on our route. There is great hiking in the area & the staff was very helpful in making suggestions & mapping the location of trails for us. The Belgian waffles were the best I've tasted & we enjoyed visiting with other guests at the large dining table. Our room was a little small but very cozy & clean & had a micro & frig. If you're looking for comfy place to stay with friendly people that make you feel right at home, Frisco Lodge won't disappoint.

We passed through Frisco after leaving Glenwood Springs and not really too sure where our next port of call would be. We liked the look of Frisco and found the Frisco lodge. Mark was very friendly and informative and before we knew it we had booked in for 2 nights stay. We were not disappointed, the room was very comfortable and cozy. The hot cooked breakfasts were super and nothing was too much trouble for Mark or Susan. We sat out to take in the warm summer night, sat in wonderful gardens and were offered a complimentary glass of wine which was a lovely gesture. All in all we had a very relaxing 2 days and left Frisco, with a feeling of sadness and a hope that one day we would return for a longer stay. Now back in England, so its all a distant memory, albeit a very pleasant one. Many thanks to all the staff and good luck for the future and all who stay in her.
