“Stars In My Eyes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

We loved the sleigh ride---especially he moonlit snowy ride back! It was very romantic and cozy with the nice warm blankets. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the mules and the area. She was lots of fun to talk with. The hot chocolate waiting for us was delicious and we enjoyed the music! The steak and chicken was a bit dry and over done, but we still enjoyed the experience very much.

“Make a great memory”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

I had a tough time convincing the family to do the sleigh ride and dinner. By the time it was over, everyone was thanking me for insisting. We had such a good time and got some great family pictures. The staff is super attentive; everyone was pleasant and personable. The food was excellent. It is prepared without running water or electricity by a cowboy chef. A singer named David Peel did a half hour, live floor show after dinner. He did a great job and before long even the naysayers in my party were singing along. Make a memory with your family or friends on your next trip to Breckenridge.

“Sleigh Ride!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

After reviewing several options, we decided on this sleigh ride. The "sleigh" was pulled by mules. Our driver gave us some information on the mules during our 20 minute ride to our dinner location. It was a very cold night in March and they provided nice wool blankets to use during the sleigh ride. The dinner was delicious and the guitar player/singer was great! We were not disappointed! Do be aware, the only bathroom facilities are porta potties.

“A very nice evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The slight ride from the nordic center to the dining hut is just the right length of time. The staff were friendly and hospitable, great live entertainment after dinner. Food was good. Overall very enjoyable and well above expectations.

“This is by far the best sleigh ride in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We have done several sleigh rides in and around Breckenridge but this one is by far my favorite. The sleigh ride to the warming hut is beautiful and on a clear night, the mountains are lit up by the moon. The food is average but only a small piece of the evening. The tortilla soup is fantastic. Dinner consists of a piece of steak and chicken, steamed veggies and a baked potato. The meat was not great this last time -but there was so much food, we definitely didn't leave hungry. LOVE David Peal, the live performer-he signs some Johnny Cash, John Denver, Willie Nelson (to name a few). Also, the hot chocolate is awesome - we brought little shooters of marshmallow vodka as a topper but they provide peppermint schnapps to add to your cocoa. Really is a great, campy, Colorado experience.
